Bad company and service I order Swann cctv And they booked for me to arrive on 15/4and they took money from my account after 10 day they cancel my order they said order out oft stoke why you dodgy company first you processed my order never use laptop direct and application direct again both same company

If it was possible, I’d leave less than 1 star. The only good thing I have to say, is they’re quick with refunds.

To start the review I want to point out to real reviews out there: reviews.io have mentioned that laptopsdirect is cherry picking the positive reviews so most of the positive feedbacks are fake. Fraudulent company. I bought about one hundred power supplies 750 Watts EVGA Gold from Laptops Direct. 3 years have passed, seria numbers of them still unconfirmed with Laptops Direct which stops my warranty process. The EVGA manufacturer is telling me only to speak with the place of purchase if goods were not bought directly from them. Currently I have like 20 emails correspondence with whoever is responsible from Laptops Direct. Customer service is not helping me with this problem. They redirect me to main manager and tells me she should reply by the end of today which is not happening. I have asked for this serial numbers like 5 times already. Right now I am sick of this and will be starting court process against this company because they have sold me the product which does not match my purchase.

Ordered a gaming laptop for work use and paid for next day delivery nearly 3x weeks ago. The Laptop arrived the next day, all good so far. The next day the laptop wouldn't turn on so Laptops Direct organised for DPD to collect it. 3x weeks later and 4x phone calls later and i've still not got a laptop to use and i'm £950 out of pocket and every phone call i'm told they haven't even booked it onto their system to look at it yet.

I was buying a 12Tb Ironwolf Pro hard drive from Laptops Direct. The salesman, I believe his name was Simon B, but we’ll call him Mr Bull-Hitter. He assured me delivery would be two days (and one of those days was the BH: New Year’s Day). It’s now been 8 days since placing the order and I still haven’t received the drive although the courier is claiming it will be delivered today. I don’t yet know if the drive will be delivered in perfect condition. Guess who won’t be getting any more of my business?

eally disappointed with the service here. I ordered a Khan Pro gaming headset for my 7 year old for a Christmas present on 1st December, the price seemed to be really good value and the website told me I would have the item delivered by 18th December so I thought brilliant another one off the list. As I had not received the delivery yesterday (18/12/19), I contacted LaptopsDirect to see if the delivery was imminent as I had not recieved any correspondence since I ordered and paid for the product on 1st December. I called customer services as directed by the website and received a call back around 1 hour later, the lady I spoke to told me that they didn't have any of the products left but could transfer me to sales to discuss a refund or an alternative product. I expressed my disappointment that I had not been contacted to be informed that I could not have the product and questioned why I was able to place the order and pay for the product if they did not have it in stock. I explained that with 7 days to go before Christmas I would struggle to get this product from another supplier at all and certainly would not be able to get it at the same price in time for Christmas. I was transferred to Sales where a lady just said that they didn't have the product that I ordered and she could arrange a refund, I explained that I didn't want a refund, just the product I had ordered and paid for. I was then offered an alternative headset (Turtlebeach) but I have no information on the alternative product and was just told it was the same as the one I ordered with no further information and was pushed to make a decision. I explained that this is not the one that my son was expecting or I had researched so I would not be happy with this alternative. I was then reluctantly offered another alternative although this was a more expensive Khan Pro Headset which I was told I would have to pay the difference for. I explained that with Christmas in 7 days I would not be able to pay the additional cost for the product and explained that I felt backed into a corner with such little time left before Christmas. At this point I was told by the sales representative that it was not her problem and she could see this was getting nowhere so transferred back to customer services, effectively hanging up on me. I was transferred back to customer services automated services at 15:49 where I was told that the lines were busy and I would receive a call back . I am yet to receive a call back at the time of writing this email at 10:52am on 19/12/19 and I am currently unsure what to do to ensure I have the present in time for Christmas. The price and service appeared great on line but unfortunately I believe this is another online shop that appears too good to be true because it is.

AVOID AT ALL COST! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I BOUGHT A NEW MACBOOK LATEST MODEL 2019 IT ARRIVED WITH FAULTY BATTERY/HARDWARE AND NOT FULLY FUNCTIONING KEYBOARD. I'VE BEEN CHASING LAPTOPS DIRECT FOR OVER 3 MONTHS NOW TO REPLACE MY UNIT (CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?!) AND STILL AS OF TODAY THEY HAVE NOT REPLACED IT! YOU MAY SPEND 10 POUNDS LESS FOR A UNIT BUT ITS NOT WORTH IT! DON'T TRUST THEIR CHERRY PICKED POSITIVE REVIEWS JUST DO A EXHAUSTIVE RESEARCH (WHICH I DID NOT!) AND YOU'LL SEE HOW MANY NEGATIVE REVIEWS THIS COMPANY HAS. DO YOU THINK ITS NORMAL? JUST GO WITH A LEGIT SHOP AND AVOID THIS SCAMMERS AT ALL COST! THEY'LL SELL IT TO YOU AS "BRAND NEW" AND IF ITS FAULTY YOUR PROBLEMS! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! SCAMMERS!

bought a "brand new" MacBook arrived after 2 weeks, wouldn't switch on for more than 2 days and several keyboards don't work! when asked for the product to be replaced because it was obviously faulty and not new they just gave me apple number and told me to fix it myself! really? scammers that's what they are! if you want an apple legit product just go directly with apple!

Awful customer service. Ordered a monitor and paid for delivery in 3 days. Not only did it not arrive on the day, I had to go and chase them for an explanation. The customer service lady I spoke to assured me 3 times, after putting me on hold and confirming with someone else, that it will be delivered the next day (some lame excuse about it not having arrived at the warehouse, even if it said in stock, and it needing 48 hours for processing). Come next day, still no email, or contact about when it will be delivered. Had to chase them up again. I suspect they put my phone number to be automatically put on hold, as I couldn't get to them the 5 times I called that day. Only reason I reached them was because I called the store where it was supposed to be delivered and they put me through to the customer service, and lo and behold, was answered immediately. No being put on hold, not listening to that awful music. The guy on the phone said they will send it to my house the next day. I wasted 3 days waiting for that delivery. Appalling service. Next time, just buy from Curry's or Amazon. At least you won't feel lied to and be messed around with.

Bought refurbed Lenovo ideapad 330 £244,ordered 09.08.19, delivered next day Saturday had to pay for that. Loaded an Microsoft office 365 programme + a couple of apps. 02.11.19 with in the 90 day return time I asked to return it as it was running so slow it could take well up to 30 minutes to start. it took my wife all day on the Sunday to type up a CV. After numerous attempts to find out what was causing the problems.on 03.11.11 again asked to return it only to get an automated response, tried again 04.11.19 another automated and again yesterday so went on their website to request return only to see I had one already open, so I telephoned them on hold for 20 minutes, got bored had coffee and tried again still got put in a queue for 15 minutes then gave up again. So yesterday 05.11.19 decided to do a factory reset, started at 16.00 hrs 5 hours later no changes made processor fan running flat out screen locked up no movement on screen whatsoever. Started again today 06.11.19 at 16.00 hrs now 21.14hrs have Lenovo logo on the screen ant message, resetting this pc 40%. During the past few days I have repeatedly asked for my money back but for some reason they don't reply. What next we'll have to wait and see.

I ordered Nas box & 2 Nas hard disks with rpxress delivery. The box arrived on time . The hard drives had a delay of one day and due to laptops direct settings , I was not able to change the delivery address. Still after 10 days the hard disks are not delivered. I called help desk and the main answer was I cant help you ,I can't help you. They suggested to refuse delivery when the driver deliver the parcel. But I can't even do that because still DHL has not deliver it. The result is I had a system sitting idle for more than 10 days and Laptop directs answer is I can't help you. I am not going to buy anything else from this site.

Ordered a refurbished laptop (27th August) that was stated as having the highest refurbished grade, A1. I had the laptop for a total of a day and a half before it crashed and wouldn't turn back on; obviously a driver problem. Spoke to customer services and they told me I had to return it to them. Did that, the same day, they received it two days later. After waiting a week, I was emailed several times first saying they were sending a replacement out and then stating they didn't have another and that I'd be contacted within 2 days (not two WORKING days, just two days). On the fourth day I finally received an email with a number I had to call because apparently they'd been trying to contact me unsuccessfully (despite my phone having no missed calls). I spent an hour trying to reach anyone using the number and when I did get through, the man on the other end was completely unsympathetic, didn't once apologise for any inconvenience and wasn't interested in what I had to say at all. I asked for a full refund and was told it would be with me in 3-5 working days. Will never order anything from them again, the customer service lines were expensive and hold times were ridiculous. 1/5 stars only because I got my money back eventually. Edit: 25/09/2019 - Had to ring customer services YET AGAIN, because I received an email saying another replacement request had been put in and I'd be hearing from the sales team in another two days. Rang up, the guy on the other end of the phone said that the sales team had put in another request and he 'didn't know why they'd done that'. I do, it's because they're clearly incompetent at their jobs. After I doubled checked that it was definitely cancelled and I was still getting my refund, I was quickly dismissed with a quick 'thanks, bye now'. Utter JOKE.

would never buy a refurbished pc from them again. 1st was faulty and replaced within two weeks of original purchase. So paid the extra for a years warranty on 2nd. Again faulty within 5 months. Paid someone who independently diagnosed a faulty hard drive but company would not accept. Lots of stress and upset and about a month later they still would not issue a refund only a replacement or another model. Even though I was told I was in my right for a full refund under consumer law they would not listen. Resulted in having to buy another pc (which cost more) but Is new rather than refurbished so hopefully it has no problems. I would never buy from this company again!!!!!!

I have sent my laptop for trade in . Tracked down the parcel and it has been delivered to laptopsdirect 9 days ago. They do mention on their website that they will sent an email once they will receive the item,and you will have a quotation very soon. I called them two days after they receved the parcel just to be told that they might have the laptop but is not registered in warehouse, called them again next day to be told that they have up to 28 days to get in touch with you, but I will get a resolution next day !!! Called them again after few days to be told that they made a note on my account and i will receive an email next day No email received until now !!! Their customer service is appalling and what is advertised on their website is false advertising .be aware of this before having any business with them !
