I ordered a laptop and a hard drive. The hard drive was delivered (I signed for it). Delivery note explained that orders may be in more than one consignment. I queried the non-delivery of the laptop a couple of days later and was told that I had signed for it. I had a witness to my signing for a small package only but after 40 days of investigation laptops direct told me tough luck, I would neither receive a laptop or a refund. I am currently pursuing a chargeback with my credit card provider. I would never ever use this company again. Buyer beware!

I am the founder of a Suicide Prevention Charity I founded the charity after i lost my husband to suicide. The charity paid over €500 on a laptop from Laptops Direct on recommendation from someone we trusted, The computer would not connect to the internet, we informed Laptops Direct immediately and were advised to return it. Although they charged us an extra €18 to deliver in 3 days it is now over 4 weeks later and we still have no indication of us getting a refund, they advised us today they dont know where the laptop is. But are refusing to give the charity back its money. They are complete fraudsters, swindling a suicide prevention charity, just how low can you go. Please share and highlight this the pain and distress they have caused everyone associated with the charity is incalculable .We have taken legal advice and will pursue these fraudsters to the end of the earth to right this terrible wrong. Please help expose Laptops Direct for The fraudsters they are Please share

Was sent a Laptop that hadn't been cleaned as it was covered in gunk and the most important thing was that the keyboard didn't even work!

Disgraceful company that needs shutting down. I was sold a reconditioned laptop that was faulty, tried phoning them up next day, but beware, all numbers are 0871, cost me a fortune to be kept hanging on the phone. Had no luck on the phone, so I went to the East Midlands distribution centre. Was told all sorts of lies, offered as a 'gesture of goodwill' £30 to buy a new battery for the faulty laptop. As I refused this goodwill gesture, the laptop was now deemed as just a return not faulty !!No mention that this particular laptop had a built in battery and was removable. (I was getting error messages that the battery life was downgraded due to long term use) I eventually ended up paying £50 more for a new computer, which I am happy with, but, I had paid £29 extended warranty for the returned faulty laptop, and I was told Friday 1st February the money was being refunded, a week later still not received it. Telephoned them today, 8th February, was left holding on the phone again for ages, only to be told someone will ring me back in 60 minutes. Of course, no one has. This company will illegally get money from you one way or another, and I am left fighting to get my refund, along with lots of other people it seems, They have no regard for consumer laws and rights

AVOID! There's a warning before you post here that this company cherry pick their reviews. It doesn't surprise me, they have a lot to hide. Platitudes, lies, & complete disinterest in customer problems, the worst kind of grubby money grabbers. If you have a problem they are not interested & have absolutely no comprehension of the meaning of customer service. This is born out on Twitter & Trustpilot. Save your money & shop elsewhere. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Having purchased an HP laptop I can honestly say this is the worst company it has ever been my misfortune to deal with. The laptop had issues from day one and after 4 months I am still trying to get Laptops Direct to resolve these issues. Apparently the reason it had problems was because I had spilt water onto it ( I hadn't ). They then declared there were no faults and sent it back, used for less than 1 hour before the same faults returned, sent laptop back. Again they stated no faults were found. They returned it, but not to my address, still faulty. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought a monitor and the estimated delivery was before or on December 31. I'm here waiting the delivery that obviously won't show up today and I can't track the package. I'm thinking about ask a money refund to buy other monitor in another store.

Cancelled my order as they claim they ran out of stock. Checked the website and its available at a higher price! I had to call them numerous times to find out what was going on. They lied about the real reason, it was an error, they lied about calling me back, they lied about the refund. Refunded immediately once I called Amazon payments. Trading standards are now involved. Avoid this cowboy company at all costs. You have been warned

We are still awaiting a delivery a week later despite paying over £9 for next day delivery - no email alerts, updates or anything. We tried to call the customer service team and it goes through to a Vodafone personal mobile voicemail. We think this is a hacked/scam company, watch out. Until they contact us and provide our order urgently we will not recommend this company

I ordered my laptop and paid for the delivery fee. But due to the laptop out of stock, and I had to wait for 3 weeks. I been calling the customer service team, the lady who served me was not very professional , she kept skipping my conversations. When I asked her why I paid for my delivery and still have to wait for 3 weeks, she said she will refund to my bank but no, she didn't. I can't be bothered to keep contact the customer service anymore. And I don't think I will get anymore laptop from this company.

I paid extra to have my item delivered next day on a Saturday as I had an urgent need for it for work. 7 days later there is no sign of my order. Unimpressed is an understatement.

The item was beyond slow and would freeze and restart. I messaged the day after it arrived over a week later no reply just an email to ask me to review the service. Took it to a shop to have it fixed and was made aware the screen wasn’t properly aligned and hadn’t been replaced properly. Would not use again

**ps as other reviewers didn’t seem to have it and I don’t think these awful people should be profiting from the people they’ve screwed the local rate number for customer service is 03300 412270, not that you’ll get anywhere :( ** I purchased a gaming pc from laptops direct a little over one month ago now. Since arrival the pc has had some sort of graphics fault that means not a single game will run - literally not one. I looked on the website for returns advice and it stated that I needed to contact the manufacturer to obtain a fault reference number. Did so - Asus- who advised they do not offer any form of remote support therefore I would need to send them the product for diagnostics and repair. Did so - received pc back swiftly, with a note saying they found several errors (cpu/graphics card etc) but unfortunately also with damage - minor scratches to the metal housing of the pc tower - cosmetic in nature. Even more unfortunately the pc is still constantly having errors which mean I still can’t play a single game. I asked Asus for a refund this time as spent nearly £500 on pc that does not work as advertised, they advised they can take again to repair but cannot offer refund that would have to come from the retailer. Spoke to a nice girl called Louise in customer services who was pleasant but massively unhelpful, telling me that I should have contacted laptops direct in the first instance and that they cannot give me a refund due to it having been sent to asus- she told me that it does not state to send to manufacturer on website - I have screenshot this from the website and you would really hope they’d know what was written on there, but apparently not. I called back the following day after a further fruitless conversation with asus and got Louise again, felt so sorry for the poor girl that I asked to speak with her manager (no one deserves to get shouted at twice - I work in a call centre) who was named Asif and was possibly the most unhelpful, obnoxious and rude human being I have ever had the misfortune to deal with - he reiterated that they would ‘under no circumstances’ refund a product that had been damaged in my possession (repeatedly told him it was not - the courier/manufacturer damaged it not me) and told me that as I had said I was contacting trading standards he couldn’t send me an email with the same information that he was telling me over the phone - he finally agreed to send said email after approx 40 mins on the phone with the comment, and I quote ‘now that wasn’t so difficult was it’ (patronising little ... ) despite the fact that I had been asking for the same thing for 40 mins. I never received the email so clearly Asif it was pretty hard for you! I am in contact with trading standards and citizens advice bureau to try and resolve this situation - I have spent a huge amount of money and received a faulty product that I cannot use. Every other review I’ve read with any form of faulty product is the same - buy from here if you must but be warned you may get burned - if there’s no problems with your item you’ll be fine but if you have the misfortune to get a dud you’ve as good as lost the money you paid and will likely get insulted and patronised when trying to get help - as per all of the other reviews. Never, ever again. I am going to post this review to every site I can find and share with my entire Facebook/instagram/Twitter, plus make sure it goes to every gamer I know. I will also pursue this to the very end - ruthless, inconsiderate ****s will not be hearing the last of me. I will also make sure that I post updates if I get any further. Genuinely horrified at the fact that have spent £500 for absolutely nothing and that they simply don’t care. Awful service, awful company, awful experience all round.

Absolutely do not use this company. if you do don't expect any customer service. I had faulty graphics card that they refuse to fix even though it is still under warranty. I then talked to directly with the manufacturer who agreed to replace the card directly to myself, if LaptopsDirect would filled out a simple RMA form.. That is all they had to do...... But incredibly they just point blank refused. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD TO DEAL WITH.

I bought a Lenovo all in one in April 2018 It arrived quickly but when unpacked it started showing a boot error I contacted Laptops Direct and initially they tried to divert me to Lenovo not taking responsibility of the assistance Only when I insisted, it took me 3 calls, they agreed to an appointment to speak to a technician. They promised to call the following day but after 1 week I had to call and pretend to speak to him Finally they said to send back the product, after 2 weeks After another week I received an email saying that the replacement was on its way with a tracking number. After another week, not having received it I called and they confirmed it was being sent. Another week later they called me and said the item was not available, and offered a replacement, despite the model I ordered being still on their website as “in stock”. I asked for a discount as a compensation but they refused saying that these things happen and it wasn’t their fault,. I protested saying that they had my money for more than 1 month without providing me the goods. They also said they have no complaints process. I asked refund and they said they would process it immediately but it took another week to have an email confirmation, with money not come yet. They are a scam. Avoid them carefully.
