**ps as other reviewers didn’t seem to have it and I don’t think these awful people should be profiting from the people they’ve screwed the local rate number for customer service is 03300 412270, not that you’ll get anywhere :( ** I purchased a gaming pc from laptops direct a little over one month ago now. Since arrival the pc has had some sort of graphics fault that means not a single game will run - literally not one. I looked on the website for returns advice and it stated that I needed to contact the manufacturer to obtain a fault reference number. Did so - Asus- who advised they do not offer any form of remote support therefore I would need to send them the product for diagnostics and repair. Did so - received pc back swiftly, with a note saying they found several errors (cpu/graphics card etc) but unfortunately also with damage - minor scratches to the metal housing of the pc tower - cosmetic in nature. Even more unfortunately the pc is still constantly having errors which mean I still can’t play a single game. I asked Asus for a refund this time as spent nearly £500 on pc that does not work as advertised, they advised they can take again to repair but cannot offer refund that would have to come from the retailer. Spoke to a nice girl called Louise in customer services who was pleasant but massively unhelpful, telling me that I should have contacted laptops direct in the first instance and that they cannot give me a refund due to it having been sent to asus- she told me that it does not state to send to manufacturer on website - I have screenshot this from the website and you would really hope they’d know what was written on there, but apparently not. I called back the following day after a further fruitless conversation with asus and got Louise again, felt so sorry for the poor girl that I asked to speak with her manager (no one deserves to get shouted at twice - I work in a call centre) who was named Asif and was possibly the most unhelpful, obnoxious and rude human being I have ever had the misfortune to deal with - he reiterated that they would ‘under no circumstances’ refund a product that had been damaged in my possession (repeatedly told him it was not - the courier/manufacturer damaged it not me) and told me that as I had said I was contacting trading standards he couldn’t send me an email with the same information that he was telling me over the phone - he finally agreed to send said email after approx 40 mins on the phone with the comment, and I quote ‘now that wasn’t so difficult was it’ (patronising little ... ) despite the fact that I had been asking for the same thing for 40 mins. I never received the email so clearly Asif it was pretty hard for you! I am in contact with trading standards and citizens advice bureau to try and resolve this situation - I have spent a huge amount of money and received a faulty product that I cannot use. Every other review I’ve read with any form of faulty product is the same - buy from here if you must but be warned you may get burned - if there’s no problems with your item you’ll be fine but if you have the misfortune to get a dud you’ve as good as lost the money you paid and will likely get insulted and patronised when trying to get help - as per all of the other reviews. Never, ever again. I am going to post this review to every site I can find and share with my entire Facebook/instagram/Twitter, plus make sure it goes to every gamer I know. I will also pursue this to the very end - ruthless, inconsiderate ****s will not be hearing the last of me. I will also make sure that I post updates if I get any further. Genuinely horrified at the fact that have spent £500 for absolutely nothing and that they simply don’t care. Awful service, awful company, awful experience all round.

Absolutely do not use this company. if you do don't expect any customer service. I had faulty graphics card that they refuse to fix even though it is still under warranty. I then talked to directly with the manufacturer who agreed to replace the card directly to myself, if LaptopsDirect would filled out a simple RMA form.. That is all they had to do...... But incredibly they just point blank refused. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD TO DEAL WITH.

I bought a Lenovo all in one in April 2018 It arrived quickly but when unpacked it started showing a boot error I contacted Laptops Direct and initially they tried to divert me to Lenovo not taking responsibility of the assistance Only when I insisted, it took me 3 calls, they agreed to an appointment to speak to a technician. They promised to call the following day but after 1 week I had to call and pretend to speak to him Finally they said to send back the product, after 2 weeks After another week I received an email saying that the replacement was on its way with a tracking number. After another week, not having received it I called and they confirmed it was being sent. Another week later they called me and said the item was not available, and offered a replacement, despite the model I ordered being still on their website as “in stock”. I asked for a discount as a compensation but they refused saying that these things happen and it wasn’t their fault,. I protested saying that they had my money for more than 1 month without providing me the goods. They also said they have no complaints process. I asked refund and they said they would process it immediately but it took another week to have an email confirmation, with money not come yet. They are a scam. Avoid them carefully.

Was disappointed with my experience with Laptops Direct this time round. having used yourselves a few years ago I was keen to buy a laptop as a gift for a family member abroad. however when it arrived today I have been informed that all the keys have been remapped to random positions and some don't work at all. I know that I purchased a refurbished laptop but I assumed that there would have been some basic checks to make sure everything worked correctly before it was sold. my family member is now going to have to take the laptop to be repaired costing more money.... hoping there has been some honest mistake here but look forward to hearing from you soon

Disgusting customer services, states easy returns-more like we do not accept returns! Tried talking to customer services and they spit out a load of useless nonsense then cut the conversation off without giving you a chance to utter a single syllable! Do not buy from them!!

abysmal experience, ordered a laptop, headset and antivirus software, given delivery date outside of the 4-5 business days, yet still charged for it, changed the delivery date without issue to a later one(became obvious why the later date was acceptable) new date came and went without any delivery onto livechat explained issue told the headset was out of stock new date given, this came and went, livechat again, headset no longer available, talk to someone in sales, new name on livechat who shut down the livechat without discussion, livechat ceasing seems fairly common, a separate mail came through days later to tell me the headset was no longer available but sales would call me, no call, back to livechat, as well as mails explaining that as they were not capable of supplying the headset the next headset up would be an acceptable alternative at their cost, finally got this agreed, new delivery date advised, date came and went no delivery, back to live chat this headset is also no longer available(yet still listed on website even today), cancel the headset and send on rest of order which had been repeatedly suggested previously, now remember that laptopsdirect hold no stock themselves they operate through 3rd parties so this should have been no issue, no dice, new dates given, headset refunded in timely manner one good experience with an employee, e-mail to advise me that my items have dispatched, checked delivery tracker numbers, neither was recognized by the couriers, same issue day after day, delivery date missed, checked order status "awaiting dispatch" livechat yet again, cancel order refund me, yes no problem, payment refunded, but missing the delivery charge, for items not delivered and outside the 4-5 days in any case, painful experience, ordered 26th Jan 2018 cancelled 28th Mar 2018, two months of constant mails, livechat and annoyance for nothing, questionable business practice with misleading website address of .ie which changes to .co.uk as soon as you try to order, customer service who re-route you to sales, promises of phone calls that never happen,

Avoid at all costs. Never have a company failed so many times. Months without a laptop or money. They delivered a broken laptop. Failed to pick it up - twice! I had to pay €54 myself to send it back. Then they could offer a replacement. Then they failed to call me as arranged. It’s unbelievable.

On the day of delivery they changed the delivery day out by over 3 weeks Although they were so quick to take the money with the knowledge they could never delivery it has taken over 2 months to receive a refund I am well out of pocket in terms of money in phone calls and time in phone calls as no one answers the phone The companies business practices how they treat their customers is highly questionable. I have had to chase for a refund for over 2 months. Anyone who does not want to waste their time and money should not deal with laptops direct in any way, they are just a drop shipper using your money to fund their organisational float along with excessively high charges for calls to their customer services. I would happily pay slightly more to a better company an now be better of financially and also all the time it has taken to sort out laptops directs mess.

I ordered a electric CCTV camera from this company's website, which also trades under a number of different names including an affiliation with Tesco Direct. The order was mishandled, arrived late, was not sold as advertised and was not fit for purpose as it did not connect to the wifi despite attempting to connect on two different systems. The customer service response was absolutely appalling, refusing to accept the return of this absolutely useless product. In essence, do not use this dreadful company under any circumstances - nothing but aggravation and disappointment!

Do not buy from these clowns! Ordered a phone from them which said in stock, they took my money and even had the cheek to take a payment for next day delivery. I noticed on the tracking page it said awaiting stock but still said due for delivery tomorrow. I rang and was told it was out of stock despite the website still showing available stock an hour after I ordered. I spoke to Sonia first who was polite and she passed me on Jake who kept trying to talk over me, how rude. He made some pretty crappy offers for a smaller phone for another £80 or another phone for £180 more. I paid £610 instantly for a product they never had and now I have to wait up to 5 working days to get a refund 😡😡

In a nutshell, not happy at all. I ordered a 3TB hard drive to replace one that failed in a RAID array and guess how it arrived? In a jiffy bag. No more protective packaging than that. No foam. No box. No "FRAGILE" stickers. They might as well have written my address on the foil wrapper and dropped it in the postbox >:-( What sort of cowboy outfit sends something as fragile as a disk through the post with nothing more than about 4mm of bubble wrap to save it from shock or damage??? Granted, the drive actually worked, so I can't send it back as DOA or prove it's damaged internally, but equally I don't know if it's going to die in six months due to being bounced around a courier's van either. I will never be dealing with this bunch of amateurs again.

Laptop direct were unable to delivery a laptop in over a month of trying. The laptops were lost at DPD depot. Laptop direct do not respond to emessages, are very slow to respond to emails and nearly impossible to get hold of by phone. The live chat system has such a delay on it that they cut you off and then ignore you if you try to start a second chat. Ok it may or may not be their fault that the laptops didn't arrive, but I had to do all the chasing, including contacting DPD. They were then very slow in sending a refund to me. Generally very poor customer experience. I have since bought a laptop from elsewhere which arrived with in 2 days.
