YOU BUY & PAY - NOTHING IS DELIVERED FOR MONTHS YOU BUY YOU PAY - NOTHING IS DELIVERED FOR MONTHS. - I have purchased a laptop for a Ł1000 from this company on 1 January. I was promised a 3-4 day delivery time. The delivery date came and went. The delivery date was changed and changed again and again and again, a total of four times!!! When I started to complain one month later, they promised another computer with similar but much less specs for the same money. I refused and selected a very similar item. Again I was promised a delivery time, but this time I was told that I have to wait a full month, so I waited. On the date of the delivery, they emailed me again, the 5th time, that the item will not be delivered. Yet again, they offered much worse computers for the same money. This company is a morally totally compromised con artist gang. They are literally selling goods that they do not have, they do not have any prospects to get in stock. Once you are disappointed with the delivery issues, they offer you worse quality goods / computers for the same money. I guess that is how they are selling their less sellable products. - They take your money - they make you wait weeks or months - and once you are fed-up enough, they either offer a refund or you must accept a worse item. Save your money, your time and sanity and go somewhere else. With this mentality, this company should be out of business and it would be better for all of us.

Absolute shambles of Customer service. Purchased a £1300 laptop in the sale, it arrived with software faults and I experienced multiple blue screens. Raised with CS and they completely ignored the issue, didnt even acknowledge that part of my complaint. I ended up having to complete a full install and reinstall of the software to resolve. a massive inconvenience and again the CS team literally ignored my multiple emails and only addressed other points I had raised (I was missing a code for a free game download) Several weeks on and still the CS team are skirting round the issue but finally someone replied to say I needed to take the issue up with MSI directly.......so I purchase a faulty laptop and reported it within 7 days of owning, yet I have been pushed away and ignored. I would avoid this place at all costs if you want a quality item and service to match

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with I ordered my new Laptop paid for next day delivery the item didn't Arrive I contacted the company and it hadn't even been sent another 2 days passed and I asked to cancel my order. 2 Days after me asking to cancel the laptop was sent, I had to send the laptop back and I still haven't received my £1109.96 refund 3 weeks later. I went to ebuyer.com purchased the same laptop for the same price and it was with me the next day. very very poor service all I want is my full refund

Paid £850 for a laptop, delivery promised in under a week, a month later and nothing has come, not even a notification from the company. Contacted customer support and they claimed they would help but haven’t got back to me. At a loss

Disgusting service, brought a £300 monitor in December which upon lightly cleaning the screen has completely gone, they are saying this is user damage but nowhere on their site does it say you can not clean the product and should leave it dusty, the person emailing did not actually read my emails and was replying with random responses which I assume where an attempt to get me to leave the issue. The person who called was no better!!

Bought a 4k 32" monitor with next day delivery. Arrived promptly but left side of the screen didnt work. Contacted them said they could turn it around super quick. Super quick i am now five days later being told is likely to be two weeks. They have the monitor back now, they have the manufacturers case number agreeing it needs replacing. They have never contacted me ive chased them up instead. They make these promises then fail to deliver. Wish i had never heard of this company. Unhelpful disinterested and poor customer service... The latest is its a high price product so it takes time to sort out, wait who paid that price??? Meanwhile my editing studio stands all kitted out with no monitor to let me use it...

UNBELIVABLY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE Several time customer, always been fine, but wait until you have a problem! The worst customer experience I have ever encountered - this is the first time I have ever been compelled to write a negative review. Purchased Epson Ecotank as a xmas present. Faulty, couldnt get past set up. Advised Buy It Direct on 05.01. 13 email exchanges since and still no resolution. Initially tried to send me to the manufacturer. I advised my contract was with them and my intent was not to envoke to warranty but rather claim a refund or exchange under Consumer Rights Act 2015. Initially (3 emails) failed to acknowledge content of the emails and prefered to continue to prescribe same - refer to manufacturer. Then aledgedly escalted to a case manager on 13th Jan- stil waiting for their response??? Attaining any response (even untimely) is frustrating. Email chain attached!! At the very least should prove embarrassing! BUT AT YOUR PERIL

It appears that the webcam I ordered for delivery on 30 December couldn’t be delivered as the driver had been unable to finish his deliveries that day and it would be here on New Year’s Eve. It didn’t come and then I was told it was in the Amazon warehouse and would be delivered on 2 January we are now on Tuesday 5 January and still not received it

The mobile was not as described (A1) in fact it was in worse condition than the one it was supposed to replace. Hence it was returned.

Ordered next day delivery a Christmas present despite being more expensive than other suppliers who incidentally couldnt get stock till 11.1.21! Took payment, received an email to say it had left the warehouse and was on its way. Waited in all morning got an email after 12 noon to say there was a delay and it would arrive after 11.1.21! Immediately cancelled the order still NO REFUND!

I bought a monitor from this company in November 2020 and paid using Paypal. They send the monitor to a wrong address and refuse to take responsibility for their mistake. I am £140 out of pocket I do not have the monitor I paid for and Laptop Direct refuses to correct their mistake. I even went to the address they claim they have sent the monitor to but IT IS AN EMPTY PROPERTY, NOBODY LIVES THERE, where they delivered my monitor I do not know but certainly not to my address or any other address. This was the first time I purchased an item from this company and will be the lost. I think paying a few extra pound and buying whatever you need from a reputable company would be a better option. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY WHATSOEVER. KEEP YOUIR MONEY SAFE AND SPEND IT SOMEWHERE ELS.

Delivery date kept getting postponed - one more time and I’d have cancelled the whole order. Don’t continue to promise what you can’t deliver!!

Disappointed that even though I had my refurbished phone for 24 hours and communicated to you that there were problems, you took no responsibility and just said contact Samsung as it's under warranty with them. When you buy a phone you don't expect to have to contact manufacturers warranty immediately upon purchase. Seems this affects my statutory rights.

The worst experience I have endured from any company. Do not buy, they don't give a damn. Ordered a laptop which arrived 2 days later without the product key, called and advised it would have to be collected and taken back. Fed up with the fact they could not merely send on the Key, I informed them I would want a refund. I was told the laptop would need to be collected and verified before the refund process would begin. And that a courier City Air Express would collect Monday. Waited all day Monday, nothing Called Monday evening, got lots of apologies and told they forgot to confirm the collection and it would be sorted, called Tuesday evening as nothing had been done, another agent,, more apologies and a guarantee it would be collected Thursday, I was emailed a confirmation. Thursday comes and goes and nothing. Called Thursday evening g, more apologies and a " managers have gone home, nothing we can do now" message. Told i would be called Fri morning, I get an email Friday morning saying they tried to call me, ZERO missed calls and I should contact them. No telephone number left, so back through the main number, each call remember I am advised I am calling on premium rate. Told again no refund until the get back the laptop which they are continually declining to collect. I bought from this company several years ago and thought they could be trusted. I was so very wrong. Avoid.

I very rarely leave reviews, but this experience buying a Philips monitor with Laptops Direct has been so bad that it needs to be shared, if it can help future customers look somewhere else to buy their electronics. (Everything you're about to read is supported by e-mails and photos, so just ask if anyone needs further proof.) Let's start with the pros: the shipping was very quick. That's it. Now on to the cons (that's gonna be long): When I turned on my new monitor, from the first second, I could see a bright green dead pixel on the upper right corner. I immediately took photos, put the monitor back in the box, and e-mailed them that the product was faulty, and asked for a refund. They replied, saying that one dead pixel on a monitor isn't considered as a faulty product. Therefore, the product was labeled "unwanted", and I had to pay for the return shipping. I'm sorry... A dead pixel on a brand new monitor doesn't make it faulty? What does, then? If a brand new mouse would only click 9 times out of 10, would that be "unwanted" as well? This is absolutely unacceptable. Royal Mail charged me 26 pounds to return the monitor, and Laptops Direct refused to refund me for that. On top of that, I shipped back the monitor after 9 days, and it was delivered the next day, which is WAY inside their 14-day return policy. Royal Mail sent me a delivery confirmation, but no one from Laptops Direct ever acknowledged they had received the faulty (yes, faulty) monitor. Then 3 days later, I received an automated e-mail saying my return request had been closed, because it had been 14 days and they didn't hear from me. I exchanged more than 6 e-mails with their team during these 14 days. I had to write once more to finally get the refund processed. This was a nightmare of an experience. With customer service like this, no wonder Amazon is grabbing all market shares. Your company will die very soon if you keep treating customers like this. Avoid at all costs.
