eally disappointed with the service here. I ordered a Khan Pro gaming headset for my 7 year old for a Christmas present on 1st December, the price seemed to be really good value and the website told me I would have the item delivered by 18th December so I thought brilliant another one off the list. As I had not received the delivery yesterday (18/12/19), I contacted LaptopsDirect to see if the delivery was imminent as I had not recieved any correspondence since I ordered and paid for the product on 1st December. I called customer services as directed by the website and received a call back around 1 hour later, the lady I spoke to told me that they didn't have any of the products left but could transfer me to sales to discuss a refund or an alternative product. I expressed my disappointment that I had not been contacted to be informed that I could not have the product and questioned why I was able to place the order and pay for the product if they did not have it in stock. I explained that with 7 days to go before Christmas I would struggle to get this product from another supplier at all and certainly would not be able to get it at the same price in time for Christmas. I was transferred to Sales where a lady just said that they didn't have the product that I ordered and she could arrange a refund, I explained that I didn't want a refund, just the product I had ordered and paid for. I was then offered an alternative headset (Turtlebeach) but I have no information on the alternative product and was just told it was the same as the one I ordered with no further information and was pushed to make a decision. I explained that this is not the one that my son was expecting or I had researched so I would not be happy with this alternative. I was then reluctantly offered another alternative although this was a more expensive Khan Pro Headset which I was told I would have to pay the difference for. I explained that with Christmas in 7 days I would not be able to pay the additional cost for the product and explained that I felt backed into a corner with such little time left before Christmas. At this point I was told by the sales representative that it was not her problem and she could see this was getting nowhere so transferred back to customer services, effectively hanging up on me. I was transferred back to customer services automated services at 15:49 where I was told that the lines were busy and I would receive a call back . I am yet to receive a call back at the time of writing this email at 10:52am on 19/12/19 and I am currently unsure what to do to ensure I have the present in time for Christmas. The price and service appeared great on line but unfortunately I believe this is another online shop that appears too good to be true because it is.
