I found this TEFL course to be a very affordable rate, and therefore had relatively low expectations, yet learned quite a lot more than I expected to. I feel much more prepared to teach in an ESL classroom than I expected from an online class as there was lots of modelling/practice, and was happy to see they were refuting old models of educational theory where appropriate, and explaining that things are more complex. It felt like a very modern, well researched and thorough curriculum. I was happy to see that my assignment was actually thoughtfully marked by my grader and I was given useful feedback!
