There are 2 major design issues with these expensive boots. Firstly, unlike the rest of the inside, the heel is made of rubber which grips your socks. Unfortunately, this rolls your socks down under your feet, leaving your heel bare and your sock rucked up under your foot after 100 metres of walking. Secondly, there is no spur on the outside, so removing the boot is difficult and you end up with either dirty hands or, if you use your foot, dirty socks. You can carry around a boot remover, but that's very bulky. Otherwise the boots are fine, but I wouldn't buy another pair as I loath putting them, knowing I'm going to have to adjust my socks every 100 metres.
