I just received my Giverny botillion and they are super comfortable. The fit is excellent. I look forward to using them in the garden very soon!

Gracias, Laura

I've just received a pair of the Le Parisienne leather boots, and I have to say they're beautiful, fabulous quality and fit perfectly. I'm a size 4, 37 so I ordered the 4.5. They're so comfortable and I can't wait to try them out, but almost too pretty to muddy them up!

Compared to the original Mouflon Plus, the 12" Lite boots are very inferior. I've had two pairs now, and in both cases the cushioning layer immediately above the sole just starts disintegrating seemingly for no reason, rendering them pretty useless as the sole starts detaching. The original pair of Mouflon Plus I had lasted for many years, but these lighter ones are more than disappointing!!!

Hi Nick, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review of your LCX boots, I can understand this is a disappointing experience you have had with these boots. Sadly we are unable to offer a resolution under warranty for your boots as they are from 2020 they are sadly too far out of your 2 year warranty period to cover. If you would like to replace these boots and need a new discount code generating please do reach out to me and I will gladly arrange one for you. Thanks, Laura

Love the boots but not sure that I love the company. I purchased my first pair of lined boots for $150 in January 2024, and when I looked in December of January 2024, thinking that I’d purchase a pair of boots for my son, the price had doubled to $300. Inflation can’t be the reason. I read that the company closed is factory in France to focus its operations elsewhere, perhaps where labor is cheaper. So, lower labor costs but double the cost to the customer. Please explain.

Hi Mark, Thank you for taking the time to review us and for speaking with me on the phone now to discuss this - I am sorry to hear you've been disappointed in our pricing changes and can appreciate this is frustrating. As mentioned our change of sipping from internally in the USA to internationally has made changes to our costing and subsequently our pricing too. If you would like any further assistance with a future order please do reach back out to me and I will be happy to help. Thanks, Laura Thanks,

Bought the prestige chasseur leather lined boots in september 2020. Did not use them in the rough, worn them about , say, 20 days a year , took good care of them. four years later, a crack appears around the heel, not waterproof anymore. Bad quality for such a price, my last pair of wellies from the other leading french brand lasted more than 15 years.....

Please send them an email at customerservices@lechameau.com, including: 1. Images of the boots. 2. A copy of your proof of purchase. Our team will review the details and see how we can assist you further. Thank you again for reaching out.

Very disappointing experience. I purchased boots that turned out to be too large, but the sizing issue was only clear after a minimal test outside. Customer service refused a return or replacement, claiming the boots were “worn” due to light scratches on the soles. If such minor use can scratch the soles, it seriously raises questions about the product’s quality. Their rigid and unhelpful response shows a lack of care for genuine customer concerns.

I have held back on giving a review as I wanted to test them out. I have just used them solidly for a harvest season at an English winery so they have been subjected to muddy vineyards and a wet and busy winery. They have been very impressive, especially when I've had them on for 12 hours plus. Yes ideally I should have a reinforced saftey toe but I went for comfort and durability and I think I got those in spades! Hopefully will last a few years. The Michelin tyre style sole really doesn't like mud sticking to it! Have to say the customer service on the phone when I had a few questions was completely first class. 5 star review from me....

I bought my leather lined Chausseur boots a dozen years ago (from a nationally known retailer of fine footwear in the US) and have been happy all this time. Upstate NY in autumn and spring will be wet, often cold and dry feet are a must for me. Comfortable for all kinds of field work (hunting, yes, but more, too - clearing brush, general chores around the farm) with good traction. I often wear them all day and then again the next. I put a pair of thick sheepskin insoles in the bottom and find that little detail to be a very helpful addition.
