About Le Chameau:

Le Chameau are the only rubber boots to be handmade by a single master bootmaker, each pair is unique. Using the highest quality materials and with a range of iconic and innovative styles, Le Chameau Maîtres Bottiers have been making our boots by hand for over 90 years. Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“I have held back on giving a review as I wanted to test them out. I have just used them solidly for a harvest season at an English winery so they have been subjected to muddy vineyards and a wet and busy winery. They have been very impressive, especially when I've had them on for 12 hours plus. Yes ideally I should have a reinforced saftey toe but I went for comfort and durability and I think I got those in spades! Hopefully will last a few years. The Michelin tyre style sole really doesn't like mud sticking to it! Have to say the customer service on the phone when I had a few questions was completely first class. 5 star review from me....”

“This is the fourth pair of Chameau boots or shoes I have purchased. I wear them in the rain, and in the winter; They are fabulous shoes, that last for about 3 years then it is time to buy a new pair. They are comfortable and water-proof. I have had them for many year! They are great!”
