About Le Chameau:

Le Chameau are the only rubber boots to be handmade by a single master bootmaker, each pair is unique. Using the highest quality materials and with a range of iconic and innovative styles, Le Chameau Maîtres Bottiers have been making our boots by hand for over 90 years. Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“Great customer service - I ordered a size too large initially, returning them was simple and the refund was actioned as soon as they were received. The smaller size arrived promptly, they fit perfectly and are the comfiest boots I’ve ever owned.”

“commande non recue malgré appel pour preciser l'adresse .... bien dommage pour une experience de commande en ligne avec le chameau je voulais changer mes bottes st hubert .... je vais attendre ; chercher et reflechir et ne pas aller sans reflechir chez le chameau”

“The website was easy to negotiate and very user-friendly. When I needed to revise my shipping address, the next day a representative from Le Chameau contacted me and made the process very simple. My shipment was not delayed as a result. I received the boots very quickly and have been enjoying them ever since.”

“I bought these for my daughter. I have had Le Chameau wellies myself for over 20 yes, I wear them every day, some days for 8hrs. Would consider them an investment, but they definitely do return!!! I believe I have had only 3 pairs in that time, I still wear 2 of those... neoprene lined in winter, jersey in Summer. My kids have had other well known brands, which cracked around the ankles after only months....so now, I'm afraid there's only one brand worth buying, for us, comfort and value in the long run...Le Chameau.”

“Overall, good. I think they'd be even better with more arch support. They're better for colder months, as your feet can get quite sweaty in them. I also wish the size guide had centimeter measurements. I went with my normal size and it was fine, but it could have gone so many different ways. Size guides with measurements would fix this.”

“Very easy to return and exchange products to get the correct size via consumer service! Very well-made boots and supple leather as described! However, unfortunately, the more affordable versions are not made to fit women with smaller calf sizes. I would love to own a pair as they seem durable and long-lasting, but after two returns decided that they are not made for petit fits. If ever they come out with a new product line - or even kids sizes that are made to fit small adults, I will certainly give Le Chameau another go!”

“These boots are it! I have informed everyone who will listen to get these boots. Not only are they stylish, but they are made well and keep you warm. I’m typically a 7-8 in shoes, so I went with the 7.5, but they are a little big. I need to double up on socks to make them work (can’t return them as I already took them out for a spin), but I’ll know for next time. I plan to get a pair for summer when working in the garden c”

“Je n'ai pas eu de chance , après avoir demandé conseil auprès de vos vendeurs quant à l'utilisation des bottes avec de grosses chaussettes, on m'a recommander de perndre une pointure au-dessus de la mienne mais il s'est avéré qu'ellse sont trop grandes donc le maintien du pied n'est pas satisfaisant. Je suis évidemment très déçu car j'ai retourné les bottes et je dois attendre le remboursement pour recommander ces bottes dans une pointure inférieure, l'échange n'étant pas proposé par Le Chameau.”
