To call this a third world airport would be an insult to those airports.
It has had money spent on retail facilities but none on customer comfort. Lack of seating, dirty toilets. Had to wait over 20 minutes standing in a corrugated "bus shelter" with a bare concrete floor in 2°C temperature, waiting to board my plane. No seating, being of advanced age it is something I do not want to repeat.
It is an embarrassment to Yorkshire.
