Just home from The Speculator Austria Tour. Blake and Chris our drivers were outstanding. The coach was very comfortable and the excursions were all enjoyable and well planned. My big disappointment was the hotel in Austria. basic room amenities not catered for e.g full length mirror, no kettle, no glasses provided. although we were told we could drink the tap water. My room was small overlooking a village hall and what appeared to be a small school and car park. I was surprised that l was charged the same price as a room with a wrap -round balcony and speculator views, on a cruise or theatre trip you would have a discount for a restricted view. Also the hotel food was very basic with little change in the menu especially for vegetarians, 3 evenings out of 6 it was omelettes. and one evening just fried potatoes with a fried eggs. We actually went to another hotel in the village, one evening to get a decent meal. This was my first holiday with Leger and l would definitely research the hotel before booking again.
