Not the best start to our Paris break. Firstly overcharged for home pick up. Price on booking form, website and conformation and when booking £20 was added ? Your email representative was not helpfull at all. After 3 weeks of emails I had to call directly and was given our money back. With a pick up time of 2.15am, no on board feeder service was offered ? Is this the normal? Our accommodation can only be described as 2nd class . Whilst half the travellers had accommodation in the main hotel, the other half was given an adjoining complex, which was well below the standard of others in the main hotel. The night in Paris with a typical French meal was not as what our believes was. We were driven to a restaurant with a difficult walk for some and 2 flights of stairs to eat deep inside a cellar ? Not really much of a view of Paris? 24 customers squashed in an empty restaurant ? With a 10 minute stop at the iffel tower concluded our Paris by night ? This for almost £140 ?? Quite a few unhappy customers. We were lead to believe that our travel home would be after breakfast BUT instead were we given a time of 5.30am to leave the coach with a dry packed breakfast ? Is this what we pay our money for ? On our feeder coach home, our drivers gave us a 30 minute meal break but the 30 mins started around 2 miles from the services and the coach had not even stopped ? I'm a professional driver and know tacho laws and regulations. This barely gave us time to enjoy our ordered food. It's not acceptable for a driver / host to enjoy hot food purchased at the services on the coach, as we were told we could not eat hot food onboard ?
