Was taken to A & E by ambulance after a fall. The ambulance guys were great. Can not praise them enough. Turns out I had Fractured femur at the neck. Had to wait three days for operation because there was no theatre space. Staff clearly under a lot of pressure, especially caring for patients who are immobile. The ward was overcrowded so staff were working extra hard to meet needs. Clearly a lack of resources. Ward very ergonomically poorly set up for any patient who is immobile. So all the staff are doing a wonderful job. My thanks to them all. Politicians get your act together and support these people doing a really difficult job. Politicians you should be ashamed of yourselves for not supporting our NHS. That goes for all political parties. You are all full of wind and nothing else.
