If I could give a lower rating that 1 star, I would've. I would never ever do business with this store again or recommend my friends and family to do any business with them. On Janaury 3, 2022 I went to the Leon's store in Whitby, the sales associate that assisted me was Ali. Now I bought several appliances and furniture. Ali told me that the stove would take two weeks for them to get the stove since it's not in stock at that store. Two weeks seemed fine so I agreed. After the time passed I called the store. Initially, Ali told me that the truck was full so the stove was left behind. As stupid as that excuse was, I accepted it. Wednesday January 25, 2023, I called again and enquired about the date that the stove will be delivered. Ali then made arrangements for the stove to be delivered on Friday January 27, 2023. On Friday January 27, 2023 the delivery team came to the house , they were from the Scarborough store, the delivery guy took the stove out of the truck. He came inside the house and knocked his snow filled shoes in the house. My husband simple said to him that he could've knocked the shoes off outside. The delivery guy then said oh, next time clean your driveway. He took the stove back to the truck. I've been patiently waiting for this stove for almost 4 weeks living off uber eats and doordash for this man to bring the stove to my house and went away with it. To say that I was furious was an understatement. Anyways, I called the Scarborough store the supervisor in charge of delivery basically told me that the stove was not delivered because of the snow on the drive way which was a lie. The house is a newly built house, at the moment the driveway is unpaved. So the cleaning of the snow will not be perfect. That's beside the point because the man had already removed the stove from the truck and made it to the front door. He went on to tell me that he could have it delivered tomorrow. I called the Whitby store since they were the one that I gave my money to, I was on the phone waiting for a long time before a woman who identified herself as a supervisor came on the phone. She too had the same story about snow on the drive way blah blah. I tried to explain to her, she said I should calm down, so I calmed down and spoke soflty and slowly and the lady proceeded to laugh at me. I asked her what was so funny she said its how you're talking. I was appalled that a person in that capacity could behave in such an unprofessional manner. Now I got real upset and asked for a refund. I hope that the money will be return to my card within 3-5 business days so I don't have to call them again.
