Bought a slim over-range microwave from Leon’s last July. We picked out a Frigidaire because we thought it was a good brand and it matched the appliances in our newly renovated kitchen. The mounting hardware broke during installation and we are still waiting for Frigidaire to provide parts so we can mount and use our “new microwave. Leon’s provided no support because we installed it after the 48 hour warranty that Leon’s provides for its customers. A call to Leon’s confirmed they don’t care about their customers after 48 hours. Do not buy appliances from Leon’s unless you can install and test them within the 48 hours or you will be stuck dealing with a rep offshore somewhere.

Sena from customer service has gone to the extreme to assist us over the last several months with extended warranty on a recliner we purchased. If it hadnt been for Sena I'm sure the issue wouldn't have been resolved to our satisfaction. I hope Leons Newmarket realizes what an outstanding employee she is!

The Mackay furniture set is perfect for our home and within our budget. Zahra was great at helping select the right style. The delivery was quick and we had it protected and insured.

I buy from Leon’s , my house is pretty much from them, this time i ordered a box spring, I put in for pickup as I can’t afford delivery. My son was going to pick up , I can’t afford delivery send him pic of ID and card that paid for it, they said nope I had to pick up, I’m not able to do that as my rheumatoid is really bad, was very upset that I could not do that, also needed second piece , was willing to get that but now I have canceled my order and still in need of box spring to make bed higher so I can make it without struggle… the search continues.

Purchased love seat and chair, one leg is missing, couple of other legs have scratches and the threads of the screws ruined during installation. It’s been over 3 weeks and no one in the CS can tell me when the replacement parts will arrive.

I purchased a refrigerator from Leon’s and unfortunately it arrived with 2 dents, scratches, and an issue with exposed foam insulation. When I contacted customer service, I was told the unit would be replaced, but the earliest delivery date offered was Tuesday. I explained that this delay is not acceptable because I urgently need a working fridge for essential medical storage and for my baby’s milk. Despite this, I was told there was nothing that could be done and the Tuesday delivery could not be adjusted to a later time in the day when someone would be home. I am very disappointed with the lack of flexibility and support in this situation, especially given the urgency. This experience has caused significant inconvenience, and I am seriously reconsidering future purchases from Leon’s.

Delivery date was set, then confirmed the day before by the store. The day of it was cancelled, they didn't tell me though I can to call asking when they stove was coming since it was after 2pm by then.new date was set for over a month out, but was assured I'd be getting it before then. No call. No email. No update. And to call again and now it will be another week because that date does work for me. Terrible communication. Will not be buying from them or recommending them to anyone ever.

Terrible issue with dining room chairs purchased 2 1/2 years ago and barely used are falling apart. We paid extra to have the chairs assembled at the store but did not pay for the extended warranty. Therefore the store will not do anything for us! I suggest never to buy at this store!Terrible business !

I purchased a stove 29th of November and know it is the 10th of March still have no idea when I will receive it. I would recommend if you are going to buy something there make sure they have it or buy somewhere else. This is the second time bought something and had to wait forever.

DELIVERY EMPLOYEE…….JASON Not 100% IMPRESSED “Hyper” response at the door, tick tock approach upon arrival quicker the better. Not helpful ..,,argumentative attitude over extra assistance in moving another item to ensure area was clear for moving mattress to my upstairs bedroom. Was told again in a rude voice we don’t do this! .,,,also plastic protection bag delivered with mud spots. I asked your not taking the plastic protection bag off for me ? FIRM NO …”Not” my job. I did explain the last delivery gentleman had removed the plastic bag carefully so I could save it for future use. “Very environmentally conscious” plus good idea. He also placed mattress on the top of existing box spring good service that day. BUT I asked JASON for his name asking why is my experience so different from 2 weeks prior. RUDENESS again Well he can do what he wants, I don’t touch it. Come on “Management” this is a up-charge to customers TRAIN your employees especially when in some one’s private home!

I’ve bought several pieces of furniture overtime none of their furniture lasts more than a year or two I won’t be buying any more furniture from Leon’s it’s garbage we bought a new couch and after about six months the cushions are all failing I have to pay to have them fixed I’ve tried to download to picture to show but it won’t let me

Avoid this business! I ordered a table and six chairs on December 26th. The furniture arrived two months later, on February 28th, with an open box. One chair has two right legs (impossible to assemble); another was already assembled, with defective fabric, leading me to believe it had been returned by the previous customer. Customer service informed me that the chairs could not be replaced immediately as they were out of stock, and that I would therefore have to wait another two months for the next delivery. I will never order from them again.

I just wanted to clarify that the article I sent in about my son buying furniture and the chair being broken, this was a store in Winnipeg at the St James location. I think that was important to note...the staff at customer service were totally unresponsive, totally uncaring, not even a smile. Oh they smiled when we paid but that was the end of it. After that, there was no kind of great customer service. Their one sign says "Good value isn't one thing, it is everything" REALLY! That's what we call empty words, they mean absolutely nothing! I am hoping my pictures will show on here that show the damage to the chairs.

My son needed to buy some new furniture. We went to one store first and then decided to try Leon's. The only reason we bought furniture there was because of the salesperson, Ahmed. He was very kind, was very helpful and understanding. My son spent over $3,000 there, paid for it up front and the furniture was delivered a few days later. We watched the delivery people drop one of the chairs off the truck and when they brought it into the apartment building, I noticed that the chair bottom was torn. I mentioned it to one of rhe males, and he said, "all you have to do is take pictures of it and the they will send you a new chair." When they brought the chair upstairs after jamming it into the elevator, I discovered the leg was off the bottom of the chair. I mentioned it and one of the delivery people went and got a drill and drilled it back in. After they left, we found the chair was wobbly. The chair was over $600. We contacted Leon's, they said, "oh we can't give you a new chair." When questioned why they said they could probably come and possibly repair it. We went back and forth yes maybe we'll repair it maybe we won't and then finally my son said, "I don't want them back here." When he was contacted by Leon's they offered a $100 refund for the one chair that I bought for him to match the chair he bought, as a gift. He bought a chair and a bed. I went down personally to Leon's and asked them if I could get more than $100 and they said no that was the policy, they don't give refunds and there's a no money back guarantee on any of their furniture. I strongly recommend if you want to buy furniture DO NOT shop at Leon's. I was so disappointed because of the way we were treated. It was absolutely the worst service I have ever in all my years had when buying furniture. They were not even polite, they were not apologetic. Ahmed was very kind and apologetic. Everyone else could care less. Once the furniture was out of their store it was no longer their responsibility. I will include pictures to show the damage that was done to the chair and I will also post two pictures that I took in the store that advertises about their wonderful service. Trust me, it is not wonderful service! I'm sure it's possible that some people might have had good service but ours was absolutely horrendous. I would rather pay extra for delivery and get better service than what we got at Leon's! I tried to add pictures but for some reason I am unable to. We also did not receive a refund other than the $100 token. If I could leave a negative star I would be leaving at 1. I wouldn't even be giving this company one star.
