Big big mistake ordering couch from Leon’s October 19 2024. Today is January 29 th 2025. Have been calling monthly and never get an answer when it will arrive. So went into store today…She checked status and now could take till end of March. I stated why wouldn’t they have said that when I bought it. It states 6-8 weeks for delivery but not a guarantee. If I knew it would take 5 months there is no way I would have purchased it. I stressed the urgency and she said should have it by the end of December. No mention it’s not a guarantee. Should have read reviews first before shopping with Leon’s. NEVER EVER will I shop there again and will definitely be spreading the word!!!! Having to wait till end of March is totally unacceptable.

Purchased a reclining sofa from them just under 1 year ago, as well as the 3 year extended warranty. We did not realize that the 3 year extended warranty did not cover mechanical issues and there was no indication from the sales staff that it was not covered, the impression was that it just extended the regular warranty issues. The sales staff was nice to deal with when purchasing, I am not saying they did this deliberately or anything everyone makes mistakes. When I called to see if it was possible to extend the warranty (yes offered to pay more) since we were not informed at the time of purchase they said there was nothing they could do. While I understand part of this is my fault for not reading the material fully, anyone in sales should fully inform customers if their extended warranty does not cover something of the product they are purchasing. We only discovered it because there was a mechanical issue (line / cable from the release to make it recline broke on one side) but thankfully it was under the manufacture's warranty. The fix under the warranty was resolved in a timely manner but do feel cheated out of an extended warranty that doesn't cover the parts we were most worried about breaking.

If I could give a lower number I would. Bought a double recliner from them, with the extended warranty, what a waste of money, don’t ever deal with Zucora Home, they have every excuse not to honour the warranty and Leon’s, oh, so very sympathetic and oh, so unwilling to do anything. BUYER BEWARE.

I couldn't get them to haul away my old range after purchasing a new one from Leon's. The reason was their online payment sight wasn't working and therefore I couldn't pay for the haul away. They said they don't take payments over the phone. I had to get it towed away myself which really urked me!

We bought our U shape couch in August. Ever since it arrived it made a squeaky noise on all fronts. We thought this would go away but it continues to annoy us. My only regret is not contacting customer service on day 1.

IN THIS DAY AND AGE IT WAS A PLEASURE TO DEAL WITH A COMPANY THAT CARED.The Sales person Meghan did everything possible to insure our needs were filled when we purchased a new mattress for my wife's return home from the hospital.Prompt delivery.Very smooth transaction.

Everything went work they sold me a lemon of a stove it is a Frigidaire and it has never worked properly and I had to pay for two service calls and I’m still waiting to be reimbursed. The stove still isn’t working and has been deemed garbage by repairman. I cannot get any service or get my money back for the repairs let alone the stove.

Went into the store to purchase a refrigerator saw a cafe one I loved. It had a dent in the front I chose a Bosch floor model instead because a wanted it asap. A few days later it was delivered. I was not home. I was on the phone with the delivery guys. I was at work. My sister was there at home. They struggled to get it in took them over an hour maybe closer to two hours, eventually, they decided to take the doors off. It’s a three door fridge it was two delivery guys the entire time I could hear just this one arguing it’s the fridge is too big. The doors are too small. These houses they don’t make them to accommodate these size fridges The was just complaining and complaining and complaining when I was in the store the deal was that they would put my old fridge in the basement. These guys refuse to go down there even before they try. They said they don’t do that when I said I was told you would put it down there. Eventually they said the door to the basement was too small. The fridge was bigger for them to bring it down. They would have to takeoff the door to the basement. Also that would takeoff the hand going down to the basement and they’re not paid to do that so they left the fridge in the kitchen and they left when I got home that night the fridge two significant dents in the front. My door jam was bashed up. The seal in front of the door jam was rubbed off like it was cut up with them struggling to get the fridge in. I called the store and I told him what happened. They told me to send pictures I sent pictures of the fridge. There was a lot of running around then. Eventually they said because it’s a floor model they would not replace it or do anything. I went into the store to complain and talk to a manager there. The manager told me it’s not because he’s a floor model. He said the guy took a picture of the fridge that they brought in and there was no dent when she showed me the picture of the fridge that they have. It was a close-up picture. You couldn’t even tell where the picture of the fridge was, the picture of the fridge was taken and the fridge was filled with fingerprints. It was just dirty all over and it was taking a far off, so there was a dent the dent wasn’t visible in their picture but my picture that I took that night when I got home, the dent was visible. They told me there’s nothing they can do and they have to believe their guys so I’m left with this fridge. Almost $3000 with a dent in it. Also, there’s a flat piece which hangs from the ice/Walter dispenser that was not delivered. It was on the fridge in the store, but it was not delivered to my house. The manager in the store told me that it was delivered. I would never ever go back to that store again and I would not advise anyone to because there’s no accountability everyone from sales people to managers they’ll promise whatever they think will get you to buy their product and then that’s where the niceness ends once they get your money. I have dealt with different stores Tepperman’s Best Buy etc. never experienced this level of unprofessionalism and or incompetence. .

I bought a BRAND NEW 2025 coach and it didn’t even last 2 WEEKS! the zipper on the main cushion broke and now my coach looks like trash. I had people come over and they said “didn’t you just buy that coach last week?! How is it broken?!” NEVER BUY FROM LEONS!! THEIR PRODUCTS ARE HORRIBLE QUALITY, OVER PRICED AND THE SALES STAFF ARE USELESS

We Purchased a mattress on September 1, 2024. I was so excited it was the top of line KingsDown on sale. However from the moment we tried it out there was something wrong nothing like the bed we tested in the show room it had a lump and unevenness. When I contacted Leon's and explained that we did not purchase the "mattress protector because it gave an exchange warranty only" also additionally $200. ( Side note: I already have protector, heating pad and feather topper it didn't make sense especially as exchange only in our eyes means down grade and what will Leon's give money difference back?) This being said I brought up that I just want the mattress that we thought we purchased without defects. Leon's did agree to send out an inspector so it can be reported back to manufacturer. It was noted that there was a 10 m bump but they feel it was ok and within a normal range. At this point we were not satisfied and a second person was sent out as follow up again notes made but no return call from customer service. On multiple occasions the staff advised that they would have staff return call because they were on lunch and on the time the staff who was dealing with it promised she would call one way or another by 9pm that evening. I am the nicest and patient person but enough is enough I will shop with stores that actually offer costumer sleep guarantees, good return policies and good customer service. I contacted KingsDown directly about warranty they state that in Canada the retailer is responsible for service and warranty issues which puts the responsibility in Leon's discretion.

We purchased a leather power recliner ($2000+). After several months we called for a technician because chair was leaning to the right side and chair was under warranty. A technician attended in September 19, and determined a part was broken a needed replacing. He advised that they would order the part and return to repair the recliner (could take 6-8 weeks for part to come in). At the time of this review (January 5) , Leon's has still not repaired the recliner.

Leons in Newmarket. Bought a sectional and the cushions pancakes right away. I agreed to pay for a higher density foam 240 dollars 5 weeks later the new foam came and it was the exact same foam. I am so upset as I was told it was on sale for 2000 and saw it for 999. In another store. Total junk and now I am on the hook for 2000

Buyers beware, all sells are final for all the items at Leon's. Bought a mattress at Leon's and wasn't able to return, exchange, or exchange for a different items and no store credit offer. This was what Leon said.

Disappointed with Faulty Product and Poor Customer Service I purchased a washing machine from Leon's, expecting a smooth experience, but it has been a nightmare. The machine was delivered late at 7 PM on December 21, 2024. Upon installation the next morning, I realized it was malfunctioning despite carefully following the manual. When I called customer service, they told me to deal with the manufacturer instead of offering a resolution. Frustrated, I drove to the store to speak to the manager. After waiting over 30 minutes, the manager refused to address my concerns and insisted I handle the issue with the manufacturer. When I refused, citing my rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2002 and the Ontario Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery's guidelines on returns, exchanges, and warranties. that allow a 10 days return or refund for faulty products, the manager escalated by calling the police, falsely accusing me of damaging the machine during installation. This was unprofessional and unacceptable. The machine wasn’t tested before delivery, and the delivery process itself could have caused the damage. Customers shouldn’t be blamed or left without a resolution for faulty products. I urge others to think twice before purchasing from Leon's. Always clarify the return policy and ensure your rights are respected. This experience has been nothing but stress and disappointment.

Bought a sectional end of April 2024. Delivered 5 weeks later. Loved lovely but as soon as I started to use it the cushions flatten like a pancake . The cushions were to small for the frame so you end up with your legs resting on the frame with a pancake cushion. It took many weeks but they promise to send some high density foam which had agreed to pay 280 for 4 cushions. Just so it was use able. Finally after many weeks they came and was the exact same foam and the invoice for the store fell out of the box . They paid 70 dollars for 4 cushions the cheapest foam you can buy. Again I called Leon's in Newmarket. I was polite and asked to have what I was promised. The lady was yelling at me and told me maybe that's the manufactures take on high density. On sale for 2000 dollars but it's even usable. Cheap Chinese goods. Lesson learned never go there again. Nothing but total junk. This was a retirement gift to myself it's been nothing but upset being on a very tight budget. I tell everyone don't shop there. Same sofa sell for 999 other stores. So embarrassed with people come over and sit on it.
