I’ve bought several pieces of furniture overtime none of their furniture lasts more than a year or two I won’t be buying any more furniture from Leon’s it’s garbage we bought a new couch and after about six months the cushions are all failing I have to pay to have them fixed I’ve tried to download to picture to show but it won’t let me

I just wanted to clarify that the article I sent in about my son buying furniture and the chair being broken, this was a store in Winnipeg at the St James location. I think that was important to note...the staff at customer service were totally unresponsive, totally uncaring, not even a smile. Oh they smiled when we paid but that was the end of it. After that, there was no kind of great customer service. Their one sign says "Good value isn't one thing, it is everything" REALLY! That's what we call empty words, they mean absolutely nothing! I am hoping my pictures will show on here that show the damage to the chairs.

My son needed to buy some new furniture. We went to one store first and then decided to try Leon's. The only reason we bought furniture there was because of the salesperson, Ahmed. He was very kind, was very helpful and understanding. My son spent over $3,000 there, paid for it up front and the furniture was delivered a few days later. We watched the delivery people drop one of the chairs off the truck and when they brought it into the apartment building, I noticed that the chair bottom was torn. I mentioned it to one of rhe males, and he said, "all you have to do is take pictures of it and the they will send you a new chair." When they brought the chair upstairs after jamming it into the elevator, I discovered the leg was off the bottom of the chair. I mentioned it and one of the delivery people went and got a drill and drilled it back in. After they left, we found the chair was wobbly. The chair was over $600. We contacted Leon's, they said, "oh we can't give you a new chair." When questioned why they said they could probably come and possibly repair it. We went back and forth yes maybe we'll repair it maybe we won't and then finally my son said, "I don't want them back here." When he was contacted by Leon's they offered a $100 refund for the one chair that I bought for him to match the chair he bought, as a gift. He bought a chair and a bed. I went down personally to Leon's and asked them if I could get more than $100 and they said no that was the policy, they don't give refunds and there's a no money back guarantee on any of their furniture. I strongly recommend if you want to buy furniture DO NOT shop at Leon's. I was so disappointed because of the way we were treated. It was absolutely the worst service I have ever in all my years had when buying furniture. They were not even polite, they were not apologetic. Ahmed was very kind and apologetic. Everyone else could care less. Once the furniture was out of their store it was no longer their responsibility. I will include pictures to show the damage that was done to the chair and I will also post two pictures that I took in the store that advertises about their wonderful service. Trust me, it is not wonderful service! I'm sure it's possible that some people might have had good service but ours was absolutely horrendous. I would rather pay extra for delivery and get better service than what we got at Leon's! I tried to add pictures but for some reason I am unable to. We also did not receive a refund other than the $100 token. If I could leave a negative star I would be leaving at 1. I wouldn't even be giving this company one star.

I bought a sofa set after the year it's sinking in i can feel the wood i bought insurance for nothing they would not fix it told me its a cheap quality sofa set and can't do nothing and Leon's should help and they also wash there hand on me 1800 cash my savings went down the drain.

If I could have given a negative star would do that. I bought my Mattress lately and feel I should have never stepped in that store. Even explaining my Bed frame height and my back condition I made a wrong choice on staff's suggestion to buy a Mattress which have never come back as a return. I was confident i bought right. But after sleeping for few days my Neuro issues started. I am having a hard time and asking them to take the Mattress back and exchange with something that will help me sleep. Their customer care is so lazy. I have to keep calling again and again to check and finally they said Mattress is your and we don't take returns. Wrong choices can be made. They are such a big company and considering someone medical condition they could have addressed and change their rules a bit. Never recommend anyone buying with them. Leons Langley Sucks. They aren't Human and don't understand someone frustratration. Its such an expensive product and I am stuck.

Shopped at Leon's furniture Scarborough for over 30 years. Their costumer services has declined significantly. My last purchase was in September 2024 and part of it still not delivered. I will never shop there again ,and am not recommending it to anyone.I am totally disappointed. If there was a zero rating I would have rated this location zero.

1 Star – Horrible Service I had an extremely frustrating experience with Scarborough Leon’s delivery service. First, the delivery truck didn’t fit in the area. Then, because there was a small snowbank off the main road, they refused to bring the couch over it. They said they would send a smaller truck and that the delivery manager would call — neither ever happened. I spent the entire day calling, and no one answered. Not knowing if or when my delivery was coming is completely unacceptable. This is horrible customer service, and I will never buy from them again.

Extremely disappointed with Leon’s customer service. I ordered a washer and dryer at the beginning of January and was told last week that both appliances would be delivered on Saturday. I was specifically instructed to make sure the existing units were unhooked because they would be taking them away. Saturday came — only the dryer showed up. No washer. I immediately called and left three messages, then continued calling until I finally got two employees on the line who said they would look into it and call me right back. No one ever called. After over a week of chasing answers, I had to physically go into the store myself, only to be told my washer is somehow sitting in London and will take weeks to get to Niagara. The lack of communication and accountability has been unacceptable. I’ve had to do all the follow-up myself, with no proactive outreach, no updates, and no urgency — yet they had no problem taking full payment upfront. This experience has been frustrating, disappointing, and a complete waste of time. Customers should not have to chase a company for basic answers after spending thousands of dollars.

I purchased a Juniper sectional from 10 Suntract Road in July 2025. Within a few months, the unit began to emit a persistent, loud creaking sound during normal use. When I reported this, I was told the noise was 'normal'—a claim I find unacceptable for a new, high-value piece of furniture. I requested a replacement for the defective section, but unfortunately, management (Nina) has since ceased all communication and ignored my follow-up attempts. As a paying customer, it is incredibly disappointing to be ghosted rather than receiving a professional resolution. I have documented the defect and our correspondence and hope the company will take accountability for this manufacturing issue.

Purchased a recliner sofa and it was flawed when in was delivered. Didn't see the concealed loose threads and stitches when it was delivered as we were told not to recline it until the motor was at room temperature. The loose strands were on the side of the footrest. After 2 hours, took pictures and called the store to report this flaw. Assumed the lady would call back, but it has been 2 1/2 weeks and haven't heard a thing. I also emailed them twice. We are VIP Customers and will no longer buy from Leons. Before we purchased the couch, the salesperson (Mike) verbally guaranteed us that if we have any concerns, we have 72 hours to contact them. I contacted them 2 hours after it was delivered. After 5 days I called the Customer Care phone number on the invoice and there isn't a live person answering this phone. There is a message to email them. Well, they don't respond back to customers' emails either. I have filled in 2 surveys to let them know that we are unsatisfied customers. Also mentioned during my phone call and emails that this will only get worse over time when the side of the footrest rubs on the frame. Unfortunately we purchased a 5 year warranty and expect that they will NOT honor the warranty ($245 plus tax) either. The total bill was $1,700. We regret not shopping around. As we found out with this recent purchase, Leons has no proper Customer Service and doesn't care about their customers. BUYER BEWARE!

I was not aware that Leons donot offer returns on items. I purchased some furniture for my lounge to find out the table we bought was too big for our lounge. We tried to return it i was told i should pay 50% of the total price for them to return it and then they will offer my other 50% back. I asked for an exchange to a smaller table still didnt work. I have never see such a biggest furniture store that donot retunr items or exchange . I had no choice bt to keep the item . Please reconsider this ateast do exchanges than to deny everything . Sooo so dissapointed.

My experience was only bad with one particular employee who not only tried to take commission out from underneath one of her colleagues, but lied to me about deliveries and transfers of appliance. And then have the audacity to call me and basically scolded me for her, losing the commission when it was her negligence that lost her the sale. I told her when I first got there that I had an order ongoing and that I was told that she could just look it up with my telephone number. She told me she tried that and couldn’t find it so let’s just proceed this way. then the following day after the order was complete she told me that I had no way of getting it delivered. I had to go to Mississauga to pick it up myself. 15 minutes after that phone call I got a call from the original person that made my first order, telling me that he saw that there was two orders here and which one I wanted to proceed with do you want it delivered to you or do you wanna pick it up in Mississauga? Obviously, I said I wanted it delivered. And then the sales rep from the Hamilton location Sylvia called me and scolded me telling me that I took the sale out from underneath her and that she works strictly by commission and I did her a disservice, but in fact it was her that tried to steal the sale out from underneath one of her colleagues, extremely dissatisfied with that one individual not Leon’s as a whole. I am a long-standing customer of Leon’s and I will continue to do so but I highly recommend if you’re in the Hamilton Leon’s on the mountain stay away from the sales rep Sylvia.

If I could give minus stars I would. We bought a chair for my son using thier online store. Delayed delivery by a month. Okay we were not happy but it happens. Leon’s delivered the chair, and we took the back out of the box and noticed it was too small. I called Leon’s. Told them the chair was too small. Customer service told me they would charge me a “restocking fee”. The restocking fee is HALF the price of the chair!!!! &500.00!!!!!! Which was half the price of the chair!!! It’s brand new in the box. Shame on Leon’s for ripping off their customers.DONT SHOP HERE!

Ordered and paid for two couches waited 6 months, never got them. Called multiple times, left messages no call backs, terrible customer service and no communication. If I did get a hold of someone they were rude and didn’t seem to want to help. I finally cancelled my order and then had to call multiple times to get my refund. Terrible company.

I recently visited the Leon’s Brampton store for a pickup and was disappointed by the customer service experience. After entering the showroom, the salesperson made little effort to acknowledge me. When I followed him to request assistance, he abruptly directed me to another staff member, apparently assuming I required only pickup support. This interaction felt dismissive and unprofessional, particularly considering that I have previously made significant purchases, including two sofa sets from the Mississauga location last year. Such an attitude was surprising and does not reflect the level of service I expected based on past experiences. I hope the store addresses this by ensuring all customers are greeted and assisted with courtesy, regardless of the purpose of their visit.

I will never buy from Leons. I have not received any calls or SMS for almost 30 days since I purchased from them. I have no idea when they will deliver my purchase. Horrible customer service.

Do not order Decor Rest. We were quoted 6-8 weeks and now have a delivery date of 12 weeks 3 days. Unacceptable under any circumstances.

If there is a chance to give them 2 stars down ,I will do. My washer door's lock is broken since 45 days ,we called the store and they told us call the company from USA to get the service 😑!!!, When we called the company, they told us the appointment is after 45days ,after (45days) the specific day ,a man from the company came to check the washer machine, he said "that wrong part I came with" !!!! And he said " I will came again for a new appointment day with a right part that I will order it" !!!!....... Now ,I will say, the Leon's company has ZERO ZERO ZERO customer service ,I bought the item from the store it's supposed to send a fixer man at the beginning to check the broken item before he came to know which the right one to fix it in order to save our time not to waste it. How it is going to be a house with 6people, 2 of them children stay around 2 months without washing their clothes properly!!!?? SO Disappointed with that service. I will not recommended dealing with all Leons stores, and don't waste your time and money with that all Leons stores.

Bought a lazy boy online because it was available for pick up January 05 2026 now finding out that there is no stock and they have no idea when it will be available was told could be months or years asked for refund was told that person is not working this week.Horrible customer service.
