I honestly did not know what to expect when I received this pillow. It looked so....well....FLAT. I couldn't imagine how it was going to help me sleep better and relieve neck and shoulder ache. However, when I lay on it for the first time, I was incredibly pleasantly suprised. It was so much more comfortable than it looked! As per the instructions that came with it, I persevered with the initial discomfort/restlessness from the new sleeping position. It did take me a few nights/up to a week or two to get used to sleeping at a lower angle, as I usually sleep with two pillows and my head higher than my shoulders. Once I'd got used to it, it suddenly felt like I was getting the best nights' sleep I'd ever had. I wasn't taking as long to get myself comfortable. Sleeping on my back became a joy and my side sleeping improved. I wasn't waking up with horrible neck and shoulder aches. I'm now a complete convert to this pillow and I wouldn't be without it! Its absolutely brilliant.
