Last year this was my first insurance as an 18 year old, on my first scooter. The price was not the cheapest, but was competative and the cover looked OK , particularly with Aviva behind the main policy. We have just renewed for the second year - we did a few on-line checks and this time Lexham were the best price, and the premium had come down a reasonable percentage with a one year no claim discount. The administration was straight forward, although they did call and write to me a number of times about renewing - but we did not see the point of paying up to four weeks early. I have no experience of making a claim, but overall they have been OK to deal with.
