Established in October 2000 Lexham Insurance was originally formed as a specialist broker handling Moped, Scooter and Motorcycle Insurance. The operation has rapidly expanded and now handles polices for tens of thousands of riders and drivers in the UK and Northern Ireland.

“Maisy is the only name i remember but i wish i could remember the rest, from the customer service to the regular updates sending Chaser emails, from initial claims team to the higher bike team everyone was perfect, friendly and really helpful, it was my first and hopefully my last time needing to speak to insurance but if I did have to speak again it would be this team LGA claims”

“Changed my bike and couldn't transfer my new bike insurance. Lexham had to cancel the policy at considerable cost and start again with a different firm. Not impressed”

Our insurers do have differing schemes and, if you set up insurance on one and then get a new bike which cannot be covered on that scheme, then sometimes it can be an issue. “Lexham provide very competitive quotes but are difficult to contact. Download the app to do things on line but once again, its a bit of a pain logging in. Log in name, date of birth, password, then wait for a separate code to be sent. Its not a bank account, just a bike insurance.”

“Good prices, but we need talk with someone you will be waiting long very very long. In case 9 calls and last I waited 80 minutes. Was a situation wait or cancel they will cancel my insurance. Very poor service.b”

“The worst insurance broker in the UK They increased my moped premium to 196.97 per month from 117 after two year of no claim bonus. They added two claims to my policy, one "non fault claim" and other theft claim which i had withdrawn because they said if withdrawn it will not effect your future premium but it did. They lie every now and then get a bit more expensive policy but not with lexham or you will regret it. This company is just forcing me to go for a car because 1000 moped i am paying 2400 insurance is rediculous even though i have no claim against me ever.”

“Couple of things the over priced cancellation fee and unable to transfer the insurance by holding it for a while . Meaning losing a lot of money again. As had no choose but to cancel”
