Established in October 2000 Lexham Insurance was originally formed as a specialist broker handling Moped, Scooter and Motorcycle Insurance. The operation has rapidly expanded and now handles polices for tens of thousands of riders and drivers in the UK and Northern Ireland.

“Lexham provide very competitive quotes but are difficult to contact. Download the app to do things on line but once again, its a bit of a pain logging in. Log in name, date of birth, password, then wait for a separate code to be sent. Its not a bank account, just a bike insurance.”

“Second year of policy. Renewal was done with no issues over the phone. Don’t do auto renewal but process was simple enough. I have two bikes and the policies have been combined in regards to payment so one amount goes out. Renewal was cheaper this year and decent compared to other quotes. App is easy to use and all documents easily available.”

“Took insurance out with lexham i advised you i was was having a alarm fitted and would notify you when this was fitted on calling you to have it put on my policy I was was told I would have to pay to have it placed on my policy if I had known this I would have added it when I took the policy out not happy”

“bit of an issue getting through by phone but once we did, the staff were really helpful and kind. We had made an error with the policy and staff worked efficiently to resolve and correct that error. Really nice to have knowledgeable humans to speak to - not just AI/a bot/out of country call centres.”

“Provided the best quote for my 125cc moped. When uploading documents like my CBT certificate and V5, no confirmation was given that my documents had been recieved. Would it be possible to show a record of what documents I have uploaded?”

“Generally offered a acceptable insurance product, albeit, their excess charges were too high. It is not always easy to actually speak to a person and the "chat' is witha Bott so of little value.”

“Not used Lexham before and wasn’t really aware of them apart from on the comparison websites. However on speak to them and going through my insurance I would 100% recommend them.”
