I had a problem setting up my card when I first started with them, and then I had a whole year of mensual payments being taken. Now and after a year I can no longer pay monthly, which is a annoying. Customer service is ok.

Amazing customer service, the lady attending me was fantastic but I can not give more start because all the time I contacted by phone (6 times and in different times and days) take me 45 a to 60 minutes waiting time, few I desist because I can not still waiting and get very frustrated.

I am loyal to Lexham Insurance as I once had to make a claim and the process was smooth and comforting at a time when the theft was stressful. I've stuck with Lexham since. However, on the latest renewal I had to call to change my risk address and was made to wait over an hour, twice. I gave up the first time and had to call back, only to wait another hour to speak to someone. As Lexham doesn't have any form of portal, you have no choice but to call. I have insurance policies elsewhere and those companies have a good portal to help with basic changes and enquiries. As a result of changing the address it required the agent to read out a lengthy (15 minutes?) regulatory statement which might otherwise been an online document via a portal. Bottom line, Lexham needs to bring itself up to date. I'm not sure I can go through that process again.

As an older rider with a mixed collection of cars and bikes I have to use this company as they cover my two electric scooters which my other main insurer does not. On phoning you are often said to be busy and to phone later with strong prompting to use internet services which I hate, I want to speak to a human voice!. During the inevitable wait a prerecorded music (sic) session is inflicted on you at very high sound levels in very poor audio. You are then inflicted with a long and tedious list of extras by which time 15 minutes or much more has elapsed, totally loosing the plot as well as bombarded with what it costs should any variation be needed heaven forbid a claim or cancellation. A few days later a envelope arrives requesting insured rider details which I submitted with help whilst probably a reasonable thing another amount of time needed. My overall impression of Lexham is mixed and if I did not wish to insure electric or low volume scooters would have left years ago as a very forceful company, one that seems to be led by sellers of products who seem to be bonus or sales pitch related. My normal company charges a very reasonable price for 13 vehicles is polite, not forceful and does not bomb the client, quick on the phone doesn't and is happy to adjust the policy as needed at a very tarrif. In fairness both the two individuals I have spoken to most recently have both been very good in dealing with my renewal and some issues found which will be corrected on the !st of December when the company agrees to contact me to rectify..

Cheap, but that is all. If you feel that you need to make changes after buying online, good luck. Multiple calls later ranging from 30 minutes to 60 minutes+ and the calls drop out. They then call back after cutting you off, then don't speak and cut you off, especially after 16:30hrs. Quite strange 🤔 I emailed to cancel under cooling off at 10am, and they didn't respond for a whole day, in fact I'm stil waiting. Meanwhile they earn a bit more each day, and get you beyond the magic cooling off period. Maybe it's all an unfortunate coincidence, but not good nevertheless.
