Established in October 2000 Lexham Insurance was originally formed as a specialist broker handling Moped, Scooter and Motorcycle Insurance. The operation has rapidly expanded and now handles polices for tens of thousands of riders and drivers in the UK and Northern Ireland.

“The worst insurance app I've ever seen. They cancel insurance for the most trivial reasons. The company's customers provoke you and steal all your money for the most insignificant things, and they don't know anything about returning money to its owners.”

“The insurance documents requested from me had me very anxious and worried with the deadlines. I had recently moved into a new property and bought a new Honda CB125f. I recently recieve an emailed about the documents requested from me, I sent my driver licence which had my old address and I had not received my log book yet so I rang to speak to an agent to inform them I was waiting. On the phone the agent explained I would have to send a whole host of documents because the address on my licence was old. I panicked and every question I had asked I was put on hold for way to long. None of my questions or worries were addressed correctly as the agent didn't seem to understand how any of it worked telling me I had to send 5 forms of documenation later, she said 3 I had to ask for a call back with a direct answer which she did. I use my vehicle as my form of transport to work and none of my previous insurance had put me through so much stress. I work 12 hour shifts and I didn't have alot of free time to arrange all the documents. I manage to get everything requested but the fact that I was given no wiggle room or understand was very disappointing. I will look forward to insuring else where when my contract is finish. Terrible customer care with 0 empathy for clients.”

“2nd yr with Lexham now and happy with the policy but found it very hard to get thru on the phone sometimes which proved very annoying when the virtual assistant was useless if a specific answer was needed.”

““Lexham is very good. The service is good and the price is reasonable. My only issue is that I had to pay for the full 12 months of insurance instead of paying monthly. Overall, I’m happy with them.””

“They hardly answer the phone very poor communication but when it’s time to pay up they are on you like a rash. Spent 1 hour 30 minutes sat waiting for someone to pick up they show no care”

“The worst insurance experience I've ever had. I paid for the entire month and received an email saying my insurance is no longer valid. I've never heard of them doing this, charging me, canceling the insurance, and acting normally. You should refund half the amount I paid, that's what you should do.”
