Established in October 2000 Lexham Insurance was originally formed as a specialist broker handling Moped, Scooter and Motorcycle Insurance. The operation has rapidly expanded and now handles polices for tens of thousands of riders and drivers in the UK and Northern Ireland.

“I've just renewed with Lexham for a second year. I did try to ring them about a month before renewal to ask for a quote but couldn't/didn't have the patience to get through, however, they sent a renewal 3 weeks before the expiry date. I shopped on all the main comparison sites but Lexhams renewal was still the cheapest so I took it! They have a phone app and portal to access documents but its very basic so again not sure how easy it would be to make changes. Can't comment on making claims or changes but for my motorhome/campervan policy they are very cheap, so happy at the moment.”

“I received a renewal letter from Lexham which was followed up by numerous reminders both in the post and online all duplicated. When the time came to renew I wanted to speak to someone but was advised that it was a busy time and there could be a long wait. Subsequently I went online and booked a call-back which was acknowledged on screen. I never received the call back either on the specified day or the following two days. I then tried phoning again but received the same advice that all operators were busy. I then went on line and booked another call-back which was acknowledged. Once again I didn't receive a call back and have still not received one days later. I have since renewed on line which was straight forward but I was expecting an instant email acknowledgement but to no avail. I now have to assume that I am insured.”
