While Liftopia can save you some cash, it can be risky. Last year, I bought two tickets to Waterville Valley and when I got there, they had closed most of the lifts due to wind, which had blown off all loose snow leaving only ice to ski on. They said they would honor the pass another day, but it was late in the season and we weren't able to go skiing again before the end of the season, so we ended up eating the tickets.
