We bought these lights to go in lanterns for our wedding and they looked fantastic. They were brilliant and bright - which is what we needed. The battery box is quite large, as it takes 3 AA batteries. Not a problem for us, but worth considering if you want to "hide" the control box somewhere.\n\nThe only downside is that the setting switch does not "remember" the last setting, so it goes back to combination rather than the last setting you were on when you switched them off.
