These candles shipped quickly, with no damage. The tops are formed rather than flat, giving them a natural look. They feel like a candle and the LEDs produce a realistic flickering glow, which is easily adjusted up or down with the handy remote, or even set/released with the 4 or 8 hour timers. I placed them on a clear glass plate on my piano, with no fear of damage to the finish. I added a sprig of greenery for the Holidays although they are attractive as is and create a luxurious, intimate feeling in the room.
