Very easy and straightforward. In my case knew exactly what I wanted having researched different life insurance options so I didn't want or need to have to spend ages on the phone to a financial advisor or have to visit an office in person. Lion.ie enabled me to get the policy I wanted online from start to finish. Nick and Hannah were excellent to deal with too. Highly recommend.
