“We are in our 50’s and had a real challenge on our hand to get mortgage protection insurance as my wife had type 2 diabetes with a really high HbA1c reading and high blood pressure of 155/90 along with very high BMI of 36 and I had elevated cholesterol 7.1 and white coat syndrome for high blood pressure at 165/82 if I got my blood pressure checked at GP with a BMI of 32. John Hourigan at lion.ie was amazing to work with and gave us precise advice on how to approach the insurers for getting our mortgage protection in place. He took our blood reports and other Medical data and approached the underwriters in advance securing pre approvals which was amazing as we had got a lot of postponements due to our tough medical health .He then guided us through the PMA process whereby our GP had to fill out our medical reports. When John went on holidays Kathleen Sammon and Hannah McGowan provided amazing support and coverage. I was anxious , nervous & frustrated and would call and email multiple times asking questions and following up on status and was always responded to courteously and in a timely fashion. We have secured our mortgage protection which enabled us to buy our dream house. I am delighted we chose Lion.ie for our mortgage protection”

“I'd give more than 5 stars if I could, I've been absolutely over the moon with the help lion.ie has provided. I had a bunch of health issues that made it difficult for me to sort mortgage protection on my own, and I was declined on the first try that I submitted myself with an insurer. I've reached out to lion consequently and they have been stellar every step of the way! I received great advice regarding which insurer to apply to, was expertly supported in the application steps - everything has been an incredibly smooth and easy process from start to finish once I got in touch with lion! I'd also like to give a special shout out to Kathleen from lion, who was an absolute star and replied to any and all of my mails within *minutes*, I was seriously blown away by the speed of her responses! A big thank you to lion, they've made a very daunting and stressful process easily manageable and I wish I had gone with them right from the start and saved myself the hassle of trying to get mortgage protection sorted on my own.”

“John was great to deal with kept in touch and advised us on the best cover to take for our mortgage protection. Had some issues with loadings which was all sorted pretty quickly. Would recommend Lion as they do all the heavy lifting and take the pressure off you going to multiple insurers getting separate quotes.”

“Excellent service, every one I dealt with at Lion was professional, efficient and friendly. They made the process of getting Life Insurance easier. I was fearful going into the process as I have a few things going against me but I needn't have worried. I was in safe hands with Hannah, Kathleen and Nick. “As an unmarred couple I knew that normal mortgage protection would not cover us in the event of a death. When i reached out to lion they explained I needed a life of another insurance. Within a few hours of reaching out the process was underway and lion made everything easy and simple for us. They walk you through every step and I felt I could reach out at any stage with any questions that I may have. Kathleen was so helpful and friendly through out the process she really took this stage of the house buying and made it so stress free. Thank you so much for all the help.”
