“John was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in securing mortgage protection for a type 1 diabetic. I knew as soon as he mentioned HBA1C on the first call that I was in the right place. He was extremely prompt in communicating with me throughout. Being able to schedule calls at certain times made things easier to manage around work also.”

“Due to health issues we knew one of us would not be able to get mortgage protection. We had tried some of the main mortgage protection companies which confirmed this, but would still not provide us with a letter of refusal. This was becoming a sticking point to get our mortgae across the line. We got in contact with Lion and were dealing with Richie, from the first call he was so helpful, actually listened to us, and gave us so much advice. It was a breath of fresh air after dealing with the other companies. He explained he would be able to get the letter of refusal for us, less than 2 days from making contact he had 2 letter of refusals got for us. Trying to get the mortgage protection and a refusal letter was becoming a headache until we got in contact with Richie, he took all the hassle out of it. I could not reccomend them enough.”

Without Johns expertise and knowledge we were at risk of not being able to secure our dream home due to not being able to get mortgage protection but John went out of his way to get this sorted and over the line. “I recently arranged my mortgage protection insurance through Lion.ie, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the entire experience. My application wasn’t straightforward, but both Nick, and especially John, were unbelievably helpful throughout the process. They answered umpteen questions with patience and clarity, and never once made me feel like anything was too much trouble. John took the time to ensure I fully understood the product I was purchasing. His guidance genuinely put my mind at ease during what could have been a very stressful process. “I had an excellent experience with Lion.ie! As someone with a few minor health conditions, I was unsure what to expect from insurers and worried about being denied mortgage protection. Nick and John at Lion completely took that stress away. They were reassuring, knowledgeable, and immediately knew which providers would be understanding of my situation. The entire process was simple, efficient, and completely online. Everything was handled via email and through their website, which was perfect for anyone working long hours and often in meetings. My approval was secured within just a few days, and once it was time to draw down, all I had to do was request activation. I can’t recommend Lion highly enough. They made what could have been a stressful process smooth and worry-free.”
