Erik was the absolute professional. He was thorough, sensitive to my issues and an all around good person. He met some resistance with the underwriters to whom did not seem to understand some of the VA regulations. This extended the closing for a few days but Erik made sure that they finally understood the problem (by escalating the issue to VP execs and dissecting the reg with them) -- and he reassured me he had it covered the entire time. You can imagine this was right before the rates were going back up and I was one of the last loans to benefit from the pre-surge in interest rates.
