As a bread substitute both the flavour and texture leaves an awful lot to be desired. I made a wrap for a BLT and it was completely ruined by the Lo-Dough. As a Pizza base it was much better and I would have hard-pressed on a blind tasting to tell the difference between the Lo-Dough and a thin, crisp, pizza base. I have read many comments about the cost of this product. Seriously folks, get real with your pricing and you may be able to get this into the shops. At £5 for two coffee filter ‘slices’ of bread substitute I am unlikely to buy again. I don’t need to be told that bulk buying will bring the price down. At the moment trying the sample pack has proved a novel experiment and worth a £5 punt to see if the product was any substitute for the real thing. As a pizza base its OK, but I’m not so struck on pizza that I would rush to spend the amount of money you are asking for to repeat the experience.
