My wife bought me a Longine watch for my 50th birthday and within 18 months the battery died and was replaced. The second battery lasted a little over a year and now the repaid team at Longine is asking me to replace a number of the internal components at a fairly high cost. A supposedly luxury watch 3 years old and two batteries and the working parts apparently have to be replaced.
