Very dissapointed that after sending back an battery run Longines 1985 which was given to me when I got married in 1987 only to be told that this type of watch is not serviceable due to age and Longines only guarentee watches like this for 15 years - This means my Longines collection of watches of 5 Longines battery watches are no longer supported - If I knew at the time I would never have bought such expensive watches that are basically non servicable. The particular watch I mentioned I wanted to pass on to my son when he got married last October only to be told it cannot be serviced and we can offer another watch at a discounted price - the whole point was this was to be passed on in the family. Never buy Longines watches - Poor service and not an investment if these cannot be serviced after 15 years ?
