This is now the second year of being with LAMB. The first year definitely saved me money compared to staying with Sainsbury’s Energy who massively hiked their price after being with them for a year. LAMB moved me to EON and it was seemless and throughout the year all was very very easy. LAMB have now changed me to TOTO again highlighting they would save me money. This was again all seemless with a couple of reservations and queries. The first was TOTO wanted to take two payments on the first direct debit. This was not clear from LAMB but was easily resolved with a call to TOTO who I believe are based in Brighton and were very good at resolving the issue by only taking a single payment. Their reason for the double payment is to top load your account to take you through the higher demand periods which frankly I thought was unacceptable. My view is that if you are given a direct debit amount for the account this should reflect the average amount each month to be paid over the year with only minor tweaks required during the rest of the year. The second issue I had was LAMB suggested on the first year changeover with them that they would only transfer me to reputable companies. When doing a quick search of TOTO the reviews coming back were not great and as such I emailed LAMB with my concerns. They responded with a comprehensive email (not quickly enough for my liking) stating that TOTO were addressing the issues highlighted by customers and were engaging in these improvements. As such LAMB were happy to proceed with TOTO as they were constantly improving. My experience with TOTO has been positive as they have been responsive in dealing with the payment issue. Also when trying to upload online the meter readings the system could not take the readings and they advised calling . I did and they took the readings. The calls were very quick with no lengthy waiting at all. Just started with TOTO so too early to say for the rest of it. I gave LAMB 4/5 due to these early foibles but maintain the 4/5 as the resolution was easy.
