Two days before my trip I received an email saying my hotel had been changed to another hotel. The terms and conditions on loveholidays state that you would receive 7 days notice of any changes to my booking.
When I did arrive at the hotel they asked for payment of €249 or else I could not stay the night. I had already paid loveholidays but the hotel manager said they did not receive any money.
Once I got to my room it was not the same as I had booked. My room only had one bed, however upon reservation I booked a room with 2 beds.
I contacted the agency and they told me to submit a claims form online. I have followed up with phones calls to be told that there is nothing further they can do and I should wait to see if the claims team think I should receive the extra money I paid back.
3 weeks later and still nobody has been in touch. I will not be using this agency ever again.
