I am absolutely disgusted with my experience with Loveholidays and feel completely misled. As a previous customer, I thought I could trust them, but this has been nothing short of a nightmare. I needed to change the travel dates for my trip, and while the hotel confirmed there was availability for the new dates, Loveholidays refused to change my check- in date even when they said they could with a £390 charge as long as I book new flights, and then they would be able to make the change. With only 30 minutes to act, I went ahead and booked separate flights, costing me an additional £800. Once I called Loveholidays back within 15 minutes, I was told the hotel had no availability anymore, which made no sense given that the hotel had just confirmed availability to me earlier. So, I called the hotel directly, and guess what? They STILL had availability for the new dates. Frustrated, I rang Loveholidays once more, only to be met with outright refusal to help. No solution, no empathy, just a complete lack of support. They completely dropped the ball, leaving me stuck with extra costs and zero resolution. It’s clear to me that Loveholidays does not care about its customers once they have your money. As a previous loyal customer, I will NEVER use their services again. Their customer service is a joke, and they are completely unhelpful when things go wrong. Do yourself a favor and avoid them at all costs. There are many other travel companies that value their customers and actually follow through on their promises.

We booked a 6-night stay at Hotel Cristoforo Colombo mainly for the pool. When we arrived, we were told it was closed, and it only opened for about 1.5 days at the end of our stay. No warning was given. Love Holidays first offered an apology and a small refund (£162.14), which I didn’t accept. Then they processed it anyway without my consent. The experience ruined our holiday and their handling of the complaint was inconsistent and disappointing. I expect a fair resolution, not a forced gesture.

We arrived at this hotel on a Monday evening, having specifically chosen it because it was advertised as child-friendly—something that was absolutely crucial for us as we were travelling with a 4-month-old baby. Unfortunately, the experience was a huge disappointment from the start. Before our arrival, I contacted the hotel to request a cot and a kettle for preparing baby bottles. While the cot was provided, the kettle was not. I had to ask four times before finally receiving one, a full 12 hours later. This is completely unacceptable, especially considering the hotel was made fully aware that we were travelling with an infant. Had we not brought pre-made bottles, we would have been unable to feed our baby—a situation no parent should have to face on what’s meant to be a relaxing holiday. Things only got worse. On Tuesday, we went to find the “children’s pool” that was clearly advertised on the hotel’s listing, only to be told by reception that one never existed. After raising the issue with the support team via video call, we were told an urgent enquiry was made—but we never heard anything back, even after multiple follow-ups. We ended up spending most of our time stuck in the room as it was 39°C outside and there were no safe or appropriate facilities for our baby. This completely derailed our holiday plans. To make matters worse, I then received an email from a representative (Leanne) claiming that the hotel never advertised a children’s pool—which is false. I had screenshots of the original listing showing it was included. It’s incredibly unprofessional for a company to change their online description after receiving a complaint, in what feels like a blatant attempt to cover their tracks. The staff we dealt with were unhelpful, dismissive, and offered no real solutions—only excuses. What should have been a relaxing family trip turned into a stressful and frustrating ordeal. We booked this hotel specifically because it was supposed to be suitable for families with young children. It absolutely was not. The lack of care, false advertising, and poor service ruined what should have been a special time for us. Avoid if you’re travelling with children.

Love Holidays were terrible at dealing with my complaint against our transfer. The driver aggressively tried to force me and my son off the the bus in blazing heat when it was the the wrong hotel. He was then abusive and intimidating and drove us around on our own after everyone else got off the bus. Love Holidays are bound by the package holiday regulations yet they will claim they're just an agent for you. I am a single mum travelling on holiday with my small child. Not only did we feel threatened, we experienced a 2 hour transfer advertised as 30mins. Love Holidays handled my complaint badly and sent AI drafted replies to everything. ATOL should refuse to work with Love Holidays. I will report Love Holidays to Trading Standards and ATOL. Love Holidays are the worst - never use them.

I booked a package holiday directly with Loveholidays, expecting a relaxing break—but instead endured 10 nights of absolute distress. The hotel I was placed in was infested with bed bugs and cockroaches. I was covered in painful, itchy bites for the entire duration, despite taking every precaution. When I contacted Loveholidays for help, I was shocked by their response. They denied any responsibility, claiming it was my fault for “choosing” the hotel—even though it was part of a package they advertised and facilitated. They offered no support, no alternatives, and no option to move me to safer accommodation. I was effectively abandoned to suffer in unacceptable conditions. This experience was not just disappointing—it was distressing, unhygienic, and mishandled from start to finish. I would not recommend booking with Loveholidays to anyone who values basic health, safety, or customer support while travelling. I will NEVER, ever ever book through LOVE HOLIDAYS again. I have also informed all family/friends of the unacceptable service from them ---

During my recent stay at Aluasun Costa Park, Torremolinos, Costa del Sol, Spain. I was informed that the superior suite I had originally booked was unavailable. I was then told that the family suite would be provided at no extra cost, I specifically communicated my preference for either the superior suite (if available with the £360 payment) or a refund, as the family suite is the basic option at the hotel. Subsequently, I received confirmation that the original superior suite I booked had been secured for me. However, upon my arrival at the hotel on 09/06/2025, I was very disappointed to find that I had been allocated the family suite, not the superior suite as confirmed. I challenge why I was not given the superior suite and I was told that the family suite was the room assigned by loveholidays.com This entire situation has caused considerable frustration and inconvenience. I paid an additional £360 for a room that I did not receive.

Have booked my last 5 holidays through Love holidays. Everything is perfect. The app is handy. Very easy to navigate and it gives you the option of paying in installments. Prices are really good. Would recommend.

If I could rate them zero or negative stars, I would. I'm sure they're fine if everything goes smoothly. However, we needed to change the week of our holiday, which when booking were told was fine to do. When we attempted to do so, it cost several hundred pounds more than it did previously. From speaking to the extremely rude loveholidays representative, who spoke to me like a child and talked over me the entire time, this is because the 'new holiday' deal was no longer applicable, even though this was still a new holiday just with a different date. This was not mentioned anywhere. We asked to cancel so we could book it fresh - nope. Told this would cost us £600 to cancel as the flights were non-refundable. Fine - can we cancel the hotel then and we'll keep the flights so we can change with the airline directly? Nope - they don't do partial cancellations. Okay... can I speak to a supervisor please? Sorry, that will take 2-3 days to do if the request is approved, which was subsequently denied. So my choice was to change the dates and lose £600, or cancel the holiday and lose £600 - even though the only non-refundable part of the booking we wanted to keep. This is pure greed, there is absolutely no other reason to not carry the 'new holiday' deal across when changing dates, and no reason to cancel the non-refundable flights. Disgusting policies, awful customer service and one of the worst booking experiences of my life. I will never use this company again and advise others to steer well clear.

Miscarriage and mental health issues ignored by the company !IF I COULD I WOULD GIVE 0 start. I feel compelled to share my devastating experience with Loveholidays, not just for my own sake, but to warn others especially vulnerable customers about how this company handles genuine human suffering. Due to serious mental health issues and a severe hormonal imbalance due third miscarriage (happening now and my “holiday booked with them is in 3 weeks), I was medically deemed unfit to travel, work or anything. I provided documentation, including evidence from my GP confirming my condition. I’m going through an incredibly fragile period, both mentally and financially, after multiple early losses and starting medication to prevent self-harm. Despite all this, Loveholidays repeatedly refused my refund request for a trip I could not possibly take. Instead of showing compassion or empathy, they added stress, ignored my pleas, and dismissed the evidence I submitted. All I asked for was a refund of approximately £300, which is a small amount compared to the £55+ million in profits the company reported in 2023/2024. Their lack of understanding and care is absolutely disgraceful. I escalated the issue with a detailed and heartfelt letter to their management, but they still chose profit over people. I’ve now successfully reversed the charge through my bank, but that doesn’t undo the trauma and humiliation this process caused. This experience has left me disillusioned and deeply hurt. I urge anyone with complex medical or mental health needs to think twice before booking with Loveholidays. If you encounter any issues, do not expect empathy, flexibility, or basic decency. To Loveholidays: This isn’t just about money. It’s about how you treat real people during the worst times of their lives. I won’t stay silent, and I’ll continue to share this story publicly so others can make informed decisions.

Booked a holiday 10 days ago and… Booked a holiday 10 days ago and decided to upgrade the room. Did this online as it was a Sunday outside of hours. The confirmation came back swiftly and was confirmed. However, I thought the price was a bit high so retried the same holiday through the website and it was £1200 cheaper. I phoned them to ask for the difference as they offer a price match. They don't price match against themselves! They don't price match after 24 hours of making the original booking and you can't walk away and just lose your deposit without paying for some non-refundable parts of the holiday! Be very aware of this company. I wish I'd seen the reviews before booking. I feel that the terms were not made clear about cancelling as it would of been better for me to have cancelled and rebooked, they are quick to show a decreasing time clock on the booking page but not quick to highlight their poor refund operation. DO NOT USE.

Hi, We just completed the first holiday booked through loveholidays. I was so scared after I've seen the reviews but everything was perfect! The flight was on time with a Turkish Airline, the transfer was on time both ways, the hotel ( Papillon Aysha ) was the best one that we ever been in Antalia and we also had a person who was a a dedicated holiday guide for us. I have no complaints at all. I will definitely book again if I find a good offer. Date of experience: 20 - 27th May 2025!

Booked to go to Budapest on the 24th of may to the 27th of may. Through love holidays we paid this in full for flights and hotel. Being a regular customer ive always found great deals and payment plans with them. However the day of travel my partner took seriously unwell and was left in hospital over night. I contacted love holiday to explain I am in the hospital and won't manage the flight in six hours time and that I can provide medical documents to support this. They were not interested at all and said no reimbursement would be issued. I even asked if the reimbursement could be half the price of the holiday we paid to another holiday which wasn't allowed. Other companies would reimburse for this situation we didnt ask to be in no problem. Love holidays you've lost a customer and I will be telling family and friends to avoid at all costs.. you have no compassion for your travelers - you got your money we've lost out on a holiday and money. Hope your happy with yourself !!

I booked a package holiday to Qatar through Loveholidays in November for travel in May, expecting a smooth and memorable trip for a special occasion. Unfortunately, from the moment I arrived, the experience was nothing short of a nightmare, largely due to Loveholidays’ complete lack of professionalism and accountability. Upon arriving at my destination, I was shocked to find that the hotel had no booking under my name. I immediately contacted Loveholidays, who took over four hours to respond and eventually moved me to an alternative hotel. This replacement was not of the same standard as the one I had paid for and was clearly a downgrade. Despite this being their error, I had to chase them repeatedly, making costly international calls just to get basic support. After two stressful days and continued back-and-forth communication, I was finally moved back to my originally booked hotel. The stress, disruption, and time wasted were incredibly frustrating, and entirely avoidable had they handled the booking correctly to begin with. Unfortunately, the problems didn’t end there. On my return, I discovered that my airport transfer had been scheduled for 1:05am – just 20 minutes before my flight was due to depart at 1:25am. Once again, I had to call Loveholidays in a panic to fix this mistake. Their solution? They booked me an Uber. Considering I had paid £154 for the transfer as part of my package, this was completely unacceptable. An Uber does not reflect the service or cost I had paid for, and it was another example of how little regard they have for their customers once payment is taken. For a trip that cost me £1,600, the treatment I received was appalling. Not only did Loveholidays fail to deliver on their promised services, but they were also dismissive when I raised my concerns. After everything I went through, I was offered a mere £68 in compensation – a token gesture that completely ignores the stress, inconvenience, and extra expenses I incurred. This trip was meant to be a special occasion, but instead it was overshadowed by repeated failures from Loveholidays. Their service is unprofessional, their customer support is slow and unreliable, and they take no real responsibility for their mistakes. I would strongly advise anyone considering booking through them to think twice. I will never use Loveholidays again.
