To be honest with you, this was one of the most stressful holidays I've had in a long time. I usually never go all inclusive but, considering the pre booking communication, the 5 star LaBranda hotel TMT in Bodrum and the easy booking process we went for it. Four of us travelling. It all started when the original hotel we booked was not available, we chose one of the available options and oh boy were we disappointed.... We arrived late at night to substandard and dirty rooms, i cannot express the state of the mouldy showerheads... Support from loveholiday was less than impressive, i spent nearly 70 euro in calls alone and they opened a case with the hotel, the hotel lied, however, upon much insistence, we got upgraded rooms. No more communication was received from loveholiday and they, i later found out, closed our case. To the last day, our names were not on the transport list and cue the back and forth with the rep, eventually he sorted the transport but, love holiday is not available unless i call them, again at 2 euro per minute.... I tried to respond to the previous email thread but was surprised with a "we closed your case" automated email. First and last time i will book with loveholiday...

We were badly let down by loveholidays, left stranded at the airport and had to make our own way to the hotel, with two heavy suitcases,having already paid £164 for the transfers (both ways). Their response to my complaint was very poor and lacked any empathy at all. I will never book with loveholidays in the future.

Loveholidays is NOT an ABTA member. You might get a cheap holiday, but I am currently experiencing the verh hard way of learning that they use third parties!! My hotel in Side, Turkey is horrendous and I met with my rep the following day at 2.30pm to discuss my issues. 5 days and 54 emails later, I am still in the same hotel. I have been lied to multipletimes. I have been wrongly informed multiple times. So many questions and contradictions within their emails is incredible. Despite flagging their errors multiple times, the same lies or factually incorrect information was forthcoming!! Dealing with Loveholidays whilst on holiday has been a horrendous experience and ruined my holiday! Please be careful when booking with Loveholidays as NOT an ABTA member.

Very disappointed with loveholidays communication. Payed for transfers from airport to hotel. Was sent info how to find driver at airport. Night before our early morning flight had random message from person giving us different instructions for pick up at airport ignored it as thought it might be scam. Went on loveholidays app to see if there was any mention of the change. Tried to contact them but out of hours. Next day arrived at airport followed loveholiday instructions and man who had messaged appeared and shouted at us because didn't reply to his text. Why couldn't loveholiday have just messaged me to say pick up arrangements had changed. On a more positive note our hotel was amazing.

I would never book a holiday with Love Holidays again! We were completely mis sold our holiday to The Carribean Resort Agadir. We researched, and at the time of booking it had many positive reviews, strangely enough around about the time we were there it mainly has negative reviews. The pictures are nothing like the hotel we booked. Mouldy mattresses, broken doors, raw food, broken tiles in the pool, the pool turned swimwear green! Bedding wasn’t changed our whole 10 night stay, despite asking. Ants in our room. We ate out a lot or ordered in as we were ill, dangerous wires on show, and cupboards open on each floor concealed by a mirror, when you look in a very deep drop, if a child got in it could be fatal! Staff rude and unhelpful. The list is endless!! Try to contact Love Holidays while you’re away and the stupid chat bot ironically looses connection, especially when asking for help or complaining. The rep said he’s been there a year and has had 1000s of complaints. Return, contact Love Holidays, long story short, 1️⃣4️⃣ different agents responding, some with the same responses, some different. Even with photos and videos they are still not accepting responsibility. Offered 25% refund, before I could decline paid it and said there’s nothing more they can do. Well Love Holidays as promised I’m reaching out like I said to let people know how appalling your service is. ABTA have been contacted, next the financial Ombudsman. You shouldn’t be allowed to sell holidays the way you are and get away with it. We were MIS SOLD our holiday with pictures that were probably taken 20 years ago!!! I would also like to add that it was a package holiday, and as the organiser Love Holidays has a Legal Responsability under the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulation 2018 to take this seriously. Tried to upload photos, and every time it won’t let me 🤔

We booked a holiday with loveholidays 9 nights and paid an extra £380 for a Bungalow with Panoramic sea view. One day of the holiday was ruined due to the turmoil of trying to move rooms and the best room available STILL did not have the sea view as advertised. They have refused to refund us, stating that this room has indeed still classed as a Panoramic Sea View. Judge for yourself have uploaded the actual view we got and that still being advertised by loveholidays. BEWARE ANY DESCRIPTION AS IT MAY WELL NOT MATCH REALITY.

I am extremely frustrated, i went to make a booking yesterday and when i clicked select holiday. It said the hotel wasn't available and took me back to the search. Then i booked the next hotel. I didn't realise it missed my 2 children from the booking: Age 1 & Age 7. I have called up several times this morning trying to add them to the hotel, and transfer. I have managed to adjust the flights directly with the airline. But when i contact the hotel to change the room to a family room and change the transfer they said you need to get your agency Loveholidays. When i call Loveholidays they said i need to contact the Transfer and Hotel directly. I am going round and round in circles.

We booked with love holidays in May got to Dubai the council our hotel cost me another £1650 for hotel. Then we found out that our daughter’s return flight was not booked we contacted love Holiday and their third-party partner BMJ consultancy who promised us a full refund within 72 hours then when the 72 hours expired they said 48 to 24 hours then when that expired I said one to 2 hours when the expired they said by the end of the day this was over two weeks ago, then when I got back after paying £947 for my daughter’s flight they said that we would get a full refund within 7 to 14 days this has not materialised please do not book with loveholidays or BMJ consultant team as they are men left us in the lurch in Dubai avoid this company at all cost

PLEASE DO NOT BOOK THROUGH In April, I purchased what was meant to be a romantic week away with my partner in September. Unfortunately, the entire experience was extremely disappointing. Firstly, the airline (Corendon) broke my suitcase, forcing me to buy a replacement. While the flight and transfers were as expected, things quickly deteriorated upon arrival at our hotel. When we arrived at our 5 star hotel, we were told to wait on the sofas. It was only after my partner asked about food that we were informed—without any prior communication—that the hotel was fully booked. We were then placed in a taxi and taken to a different property. This so-called “alternative” turned out not to be of the same standard. Instead of the promised 5 star experience, we were sent to a 4 star family resort, which was completely unsuitable for the type of trip we had booked and paid for. To make matters worse, there was no communication regarding our transfer changes, and no confirmation of how we would return to the airport. We spent the first two days of our holiday trying to resolve these issues, receiving minimal assistance and little transparency throughout. This was supposed to be a special, stress-free holiday, yet it was filled with unnecessary frustration and disappointment. The lack of organisation, communication, and accountability is unacceptable.

Booked 4* hotel for 3 of us all inclusive Hotel room was very dirty food court had ants and loads of cats food was inedible. Bar contained 1 draft beer or wine nothing else . We were given 1 toilet roll between the 3 of us for a week . Had to go out to eat so returned to hotel room at 10.00 at night and sat on my bed and realised it was absolutely crawling . Went down to complain to reception to be told can’t do nothing . No change of room . Contacted love holidays rep who couldn’t come till the following day . I had to sleep on the balcony as bed was riddled with bed bugs . Next day complained again maid arrived took sheet of beds and put another one on and said all clean now . It wasn’t clean as I watched her do this and have video evidence that eggs were still on the mattress . Asked for another room or to be moved but told no . I slept outside on the balcony for 3 nights as I couldn’t sleep on the bed . When I got home I contacted love holidays who said I must have to the pictures from a storage room and not my hotel room although my case is in the videos and that its seasonal when you get all inclusive . ARES DREAM hotel Antalya Turkey . Has lack of hygiene I’ve since had medical issues from a bite . Avoid this place

The worst company to book anything with is love holidays. They are misleading, manipulative and miss- selling holidays with extortionate fees to cancel. The worst company I have ever delt with regarding holidays. We purchased a package holiday and was told we have to make our own way 400 km to the hotel from the airport at a cost of £900

I've had the most disappointing snd frustrating experience dealing with loveholidays customer service. In a nutshell I am convinced that their website has changed my dates of intendent holiday a week later and I didn't notice before booking, simple human error but they were absolutely merciless and refused to accept it was their website who had done this to begin with and wanted to charge me 400 pounds to amend my holiday. I wasn't too happy to pay this as the holiday was already not the cheapest, so I tried to work out another way to lower the price of the amendments but they were not trying to be helpful at all and didn't attempt to understand me or my situation, completely cold blooded, I was intending to have the holiday with my wife and my family to celebrate my 30th wedding anniversary and they were doing their best to ruin the experience for me, after me querying the price breakdown and any ways to lower it they would ignore my emails and just keep saying the same thing, and then the nail in the coffin was when after all day of emailing them trying to sort out a lower amendment payment they stuck me with an email saying it's now going yo be 900 pounds to amend the holiday, absolutely disgusting they were a 100% doing this to be nasty as I was emailing them all day. I was polite didn't use any foul language but kept insisting it was the websites fault! Me and my son even bought same seats on the same plane that departs same time to Tenerife except mine turned out to be a week later lol. I was absolutely fuming with them and they didn't leave me a choice to cancel the trip for 400 pounds as they whacked the amendment price to 900, only 6 hours after they quoted me 400 by the way just to be vengeful. I will NEVER book with them again just wasted 400 pounds just to cancel the trip as per their useless customer service. I'd like to note I came across several reddit threads discussing similar issue of their website changing the dates last minute or switching duration of holiday and all those people swear they triple checked the information before booking. It seems like an elaborate scam to do this and then refuse to accept their fault and then charge people extortionate price to amend the holiday. Please stay away from them, I will not be making this mistake again and hope this helps someone.

Absolute scumbag mess of a company. Lazy, fake and dishonest customer service. Cost me almost £300 just to cancel a holiday over a simple mistake. Hopefully they'll go down the pan soon.

Complete lack of communication from love holidays From the start we were left to sort out everything ourselves, after parting with over six grand for a luxury all inclusive 5 star holiday in Sousse Tunisia we were pretty much abandoned by Love Holidays. The website tells you to confirm your flights with TUI airways on a link that does not work, we had to spend ages tracking down the correct department and person at the airline to book our own seats / luggage / check in etc The initial problem is that because its paid for by love holidays on your behalf, you are not the direct customer of the airline and data protection kicks in ( the airline are not supposed to deal with you ) Once we had managed to book everything and pay for extras to the airline, they send the receipt to love holidays ( default email address on booking ) Love holidays never forwarded that receipt to us. We asked love holidays to organise two rooms together as we were taking an elderly relative with us, ( nope you have to organise that yourselves ) despite having email confirmation from the hotel before arrival, it never happened. Transfers from airport to hotel:- We were told to go to an desk in arrivals where we were met by a local taxi driver instead of the organised shuttle service requested. The driver must have just watched Ben Hur or Death Race 2000 before setting off. Car was a knackered old Renault with no air conditioning at over 40 degrees. He thrashed the knackers out of it cutting in and out of other traffic at high speed and tailgating when they did not get out of his way. We did arrive but it was a crazy experience. Transfer back to airport, no notice of collection time from hotel until the last minute from love holidays, had to find it on the manage booking page of the website. In short love holidays do not communicate and leave you to sort out everything yourself, everything they do manage to sort out is done at the very last minute leaving you uncertain of what is happening next. What the hell did we give love holidays the money for , we could have just sorted our own hotel booking, our own flights and paid for an airport taxi ourselves and saved a couple of grand probably. Would never use them again , EVER

Extremely Disappointed with Loveholidays We booked a package oholiday through Loveholidays expecting the quality and service advertised, but unfortunately the reality was very different. Our accommodation was well below the standard expected and did not reflect the description or rating advertised at the time of booking, it was entirely unfit for purpose, unsafe, and unsanitary. We were unable to remain there and were forced to pay for emergency relocation to a safe and suitable hotel after Loveholidays did not resolve the unacceptable conditions at the original property. We raised a formal complaint with evidence, only to be offered a mere 10% refund, which Loveholidays stated was a “full and final settlement.” This is frankly insulting given the level of disruption and stress caused. Loveholidays is no longer ABTA-registered, which makes it harder for customers to seek fair redress. They rely on the Package Travel Regulations, but in our case, they have failed to apply them fairly or reasonably. We are now left with no option but to escalate our complaint through Citizens Advice and potentially the Small Claims Court, as Loveholidays have refused to handle this fairly. It is disappointing that a large company chooses not to look after its customers properly. I would urge anyone considering booking with Loveholidays to think carefully and research their lack of ABTA coverage before doing so.

Booked two rooms - for 2 men in each. Sent email request to request hotel to request twin beds… they don’t have twin beds. Spoke to Love Holidays - all they can do is email the hotel, and wait for a reply. Today is Thursday, we fly out on Sunday. Been booking holidays for years, never had this happen before! How can you expect 2 men to sleep in a bed together?

Fraudsters.. and thieves..scammers Booked a holiday with love holidays and another disappointment.. absolutely incompetent.. currently im in morocco merrakesh.. booked through love holidays to stay at Riad Dar Attika hotel.. i mean where do i start.. advitised indoor swimming pool.. there was no pool at all. Just a jacuzzi on the roof in the backing sun with a plastic cover over it. I pulled the cover back to find cloudy merky water.. Sanun, steam, massage, hairdresser all non existent.. talk with love holidays who totally abandoned us.. justbsaid its non refundable.. oh we will start an investigation all the while we stay there.. dnt think so. We prompty booked another hotel and left.. staff and the manager totally unhelpfull.. but the booking was was with love holiday who confirmed the do not check and verify hotel facility drtails. They leave it to the hotel.. i have screen shot whole conversaion.. taken pic of the hotel.and recorded video where you can here building work banging go on.. absolute shocking and disgusting behavior from love holidays with 0 support.. my advise to anyone is avoid love holiday like tje plague as when things go wrong they will leave you in the lurk. We will no purse full cost of holiday and compansation once back in uk..

From arriving at the hotel the approach was dark and poorly lit - the room was basic but facilities were terrible- we knew there was no pool but love holidays market it as sea view which is just about visible from the top floor- we have a video about the surroundings but love holidays didn’t even reply to our concerns- the customer service from love holidays is abysmal- never again 😡😡😡

Booked a holiday through Love Holidays and it turned out to be an absolute disaster. The hotel (Thera Mare) was nothing like the photos advertised – dirty, unhygienic, outdated, and completely unfit for purpose. The bar and other listed facilities were closed despite it being the height of summer, and the images used on their website were clearly old or stock photos that did not reflect the reality. We raised a complaint immediately upon arrival and asked to be moved or refunded. Love Holidays passed the buck between themselves and the hotel and provided no support whatsoever. We had no choice but to spend over €3,000 to secure alternative accommodation just to salvage our holiday. Their response? Blame the hotel. Despite photographic evidence, consistent complaints from other travellers, and false advertising on their own site, Love Holidays washed their hands of all responsibility. They acted purely as a booking agent and left us stranded. Customer service was slow, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. After weeks of back-and-forth, they simply closed the case and refused compensation. If you’re considering booking with Love Holidays – don’t. They take your money and vanish when there’s a problem. Absolutely no accountability, no customer care, and no resolution. This was one of the worst travel experiences I’ve ever had. Book elsewhere.

Title: Deeply Disappointed – No Compassion Shown After Bereavement I had to cancel my holiday with Love Holidays the day before departure due to a devastating family bereavement. My mother-in-law sadly passed away on the very day we were due to travel. Despite providing this information, Love Holidays showed no flexibility or compassion — they focused strictly on their cancellation policy and denied any refund or credit. No one can predict the death of a loved one or the rapid decline in health leading to such a loss. Expecting people to cancel a trip “far enough in advance” in a situation like this is unrealistic and inhumane. In times of grief, the last thing anyone should have to face is financial loss due to inflexible rules. I’m not disputing that terms and conditions exist — but I am shocked by the lack of empathy shown. It’s appalling that a company in the travel industry, which deals with people and families every day, can’t show basic understanding in exceptional and tragic circumstances. I would not book with Love Holidays again, and I urge others to think carefully before doing so — especially if you expect human decency and flexibility during life’s unexpected tragedies.
