Wouldnโ€™t book again with them. Unable to amend date because of death in family despite their claims you can amend holiday. Wrongly told our baggage allowance so had to pay extraโ€ฆ.just such bad service never again will I book with them.

We booked the el oliviar on the basis it was a 5 star palace. We had the use of one bar (poolside bar) drank watered down drinks out from plastic & paper cups, even ice cream was not included in this 5 star all inclusive poor excuse for a palace. The pool and area was dirty not once was it cleaned out or hosed down. Only one restaurant which was like a canteen and served same food daily. My husband pulled the rep up at every opportunity for a complaints form to be told we don't have any, others were also told the same. There was 4 in our party we were devastated. Love holidays certainly did not check this hotel out as most videos & photos have been photo shopped. Don't waste your money on this hotel there are real 5star ones in marrakesh

What went wrong is that ihave booked a hotel - Begonville hotel. Marmaris, and they haven't a room for me even though it has been paid in full?? I travel on plane train and bus after confimation by you. I explained that to a lady on hel p desk and she kept repeated it was ok if a had confirmation which the hotel says they haven't had. I'm 84 and don't want to sleep on the beach.. Booking ref LOV8649023U from 13th sept.. Sort this out now please - worried.. phone me 44 1929421800

Beware. The admin at loveholidays is poor. They changed our flights, but failed to give us updated references (we thought the same ones were valid). It was only when we went to check in our flights 24 hours prior that we realised there was a problem and had to make contact to get the new details. The flight change meant a parking change as it was a completely different airport. Only on the morning of travel did we realise they had not updated the parking details correctly either. They had changed the airport location but no other details (the parking company, road name and postcode were still for the original airport). They then put us through to a meet and greet company, which if we knew this was the option we would not have booked parking through them. Now they are saying as we did not take this last minute update we cannot obtain a credit and need to claim on our insurance!!!!

Absolutely useless when the transfer they had arranged fell through and no one was there to get my group. They apparently rebooked it so at least we had back to the airport covered and that also never showed up. The emergency line is not England based itโ€™s frustrating to try and resolve anything with them. Never again with these robbing cretins.

Me and my husband have just come back from the mesut hotel in Alanya, Turkey. Booked with love holidays. Paid for express transfer both ways, and thought we had booked a lateral sea view room. How you at love holidays can advertise this place as 4 star is beyond me! None of the pictures of rooms and balconies are correct. They look really nice in the pictures, but in reality, the room was dated, the balcony, absolutely tiny, with the view of a disgusting building site/mouldy swimming pool as our primary view from the tiny balcony!with the scabbiest, dirtiest air con unit I have ever seen. Got really ill from the dirty air con, and on the last day, we checked out at 12pm, just to have my armband cut off 30 seconds later, and then to be told...no more food and drink without paying...we still had 12 hours of our booking left going by what we paid for...the woman and man behind the desk both rude and ignorant. I felt really unwell, and had to sit in their lobby for the next 7 hours, seriously dehydrated. If it wasn't for penny and Andy, getting me a big bottle of water, I would have collapsed! Our transfer, Amer travel was meant to pick us up at 6.15pm for express transfer back to the airport, and didn't get us til gone 7pm....then he got lost 3 times and had to keep asking taxi drivers etc for directions to the other hotels....his heating was stuck on full and I burnt my leg on a boiling hot heater vent...the driver picked up too many people and my husband had to stand in the step to the doorway of the minibus for the whole agonising 3 hour journey, so that a mum and baby could have a seat....we got to the airport 25 minutes before our gate shut......absolutely traumatised by that last day...spoilt everything for us

Booked a package holiday to Turkey with Loveholidays. It was the first time I used this company to book a holiday. The booking process was easy and simple to complete. Confirmation of flights, transfers and accommodation were immediately confirmed on payment. Documentation, information re: flights, transfers and accommodation was clear and explicit. We flew from Dublin to Izmir, Turkey on the 23/12/2023. We had clear instructions re: connecting with our transfer driver, however we were met in the Airport Arrivals Hall by the driver. He was displaying a notice with my name and the names of another passenger group. I identified myself to the driver, he instructed us to wait in the Arrivals area until the other passengers arrived. We waited approximately 15mis, the other passengers did not show up. He escorted us to the car park, loaded our luggage, we boarded the bus, he then left us alone in a dark car par, while he returned to the airport to search for the other passengers, returning approximately 30mins later, not having located the passengers. He then left the car park with us, travelled back through the airport arrivals area, still trying to locate the missing passengers. The driver then proceeded to leave the airport, we mistakenly thought we were at last on our way to our hotel in Kusadasi! until he suddenly parked the bus at the side of a road. We began to fear for our safety, it was midnight, there was nobody else traveling with us or nobody around. I asked the driver why we were parked there and he replied he was waiting for another passenger from another flight! We waited approximately 15 mins while he made a few phone calls. We did not know what to expect next! We did not even have the option of abandoning the transfer and hiring a private taxi to transport us to Kusadasi as we were well away from the airport, in unfamiliar territory, nobody around and it was after midnight. I asked how long more do we have to wait, he replied 5 mins. Soon after that he informed us we would be changing vehicles. Another driver and vehicle arrived and we started our journey to Kusadasi. We were the only passengers aboard. The return journey to the airport was perfect apart from not being informed of the pick up time.early. The Transfer Company involved was MTS Globe Turkey. I filed a complaint to loveholidays when I returned home, they passed my complaint onto the transfer company who dismissed the issue and stated what we experienced was โ€œnormalโ€. Loveholidays did apologise. I paid โ‚ฌ107 for this return transfer for 2 adults. I certainly would expect a reasonable standard of service, not the service we received on our transfer from Izmir airport to. Kusadasi and what MTS Globe Turkey offers as a โ€œnormalโ€ standard of service. The experience left both of us stressed and disillusioned. We stayed at rhe DERICI Hotel in Kusadasi for 7 nights on a B&B basis. The location of the hotel is excellent with superb views. The hotel staff are exceptionally courteous, friendly and helpful. The hotel is spotlessly clean. It could do with a little updating and refurbishment. The rooms are comfortable and quiet, however the beds are very hard. The breakfast is o.k. Not a lot of choice but certainly edible. I would definitely consider staying at The DERICI Hotel again. Apart from the terrible experience we encountered with the transfer from the airport to the hotel every other segment of our booking was very good. I would be leaving a 5 star rating in this review if we havenโ€™t had this awful experience with MTS Globe Turkey I donโ€™t think we will be booking any future holidays with loveholidays.ie Further update: To add insult to injury Loveholidays replied to my review on Trustpilot informing me the issue was still under investigation. I received an email today from Loveholidays informing me that they are now closing the case as the issue is out of their control. I repeatedly asked if they considered the standard of service we received from their service provider MTS Globe Turkey was acceptable, I never received a reply to that question! I am assuming that Loveholidays accepts that Fearing for our Safety during our transfer from Izmir Airport to Kusadasi is an acceptable standard of service. As I already stated it was my first booking with Loveholidays and it certainly will be my last. I have traveled the world, travelled to Turkey on several occasions, used transfers from airports, never once did I fear for my safety until 23/12/ 2023.

The payments that were scheduled every month apparently couldn't be accessed by lov holidays even though enough cash in my bank account. They then said credit control would be in contact which has never happened. I then made a bank transfer to them which they have not been able to locate this payment after several screenshots sent as asked etc. I finally have been to my bank and supplied a faster payments ID code no response although promised to get back to me . The stress haPray they'll sort this if not s been outrageous as my sons girl friend coming from the States in 7ndays .An absolute disgrace. I may now have to pay 200 pounds which I don't owe to secure holiday.

Not surprised about these reviews There rude, unhelpful and they still refuse to send me the email address I need to log in to ryan air account who i have booked the fllight with So untill i get this i am worried i will have to pay fees to check in at the airport which will be 55 pounds there 55 pounds back There a disgrace i would say bordering on evil South africian call centre where the cutomers service is based are completelly useless And after looking at the reviews the transport wont turn up probably My god what a gangster company Iam thinkimg of cancelling it I dont even know if my flight will turn up there or back Why are they still in business The owners are obviously gangsters Everyone should complain to there mp Why is love holidays still im business ?

Awful hotel and staff on arrival room awful as was food no support given by hotel booked so we thought 4 star hotel our hotel was not even 3 star shocking

I booked a holiday to is La canela in June near the Portuguese border in Spain full stop it seemed a good price for half board just under ยฃ800 in half term with myself and two children however when I arrived at Seville airport there was no transfer I waited and waited after getting through to love holidays on the chat page they inform you that I never paid for a transfer I was not aware of this and was shocked I had together taxi and 3 buses which talked about 6 or 7 hours to my hotel full stop this cost about ยฃ80 each way however the taxi would have cost about โ‚ฌ200 I can't believe I didn't book the transfer the time I wasn't prompted I don't know what happened with that but I'm pretty sure transfer showed is included however they inform me they hadn't I've never booked a package holiday without transfers before in the event I was very happy with the hotel and I'll stay and I suppose it wasn't really expensive with the added expense of the transfers but it was definitely unexpected

Dated hotel ..too focused on the sporting side of things .no entertainment as bar was closed and has been since pandemic. So 2 days of heavy rain had to stay in room .this is NOT as described on website ..it clearly states entertainment!!!! ,the food in the restaurant was expensive 16euros per person for breakfast .only 3.75 e down the road ..needles to say I will not be returning here for live nor money ..oh can I just say the rooms were cleaned everyday if you wanted them to be ....

Had a week off at Class beach hotel in Marmaris, with my husband and a teenage son. Disappointed is the least I can say. The hotel is run down and very basic. Food was poor and repetitive. This hotel is not at all as you are advertising it in your site. The only good thing I can say is the staff who were trying everything to accommodate the needs of the guest. They were very helpful and we thank them wholeheartedly

The original service to book a holiday was simple and straightforward, hence one of the two stars. However, the follow up/customer service experienced was nothing short of disappointing and disgraceful. Our flights were cancelled by the flight provider- I admit, not LoveHolidays doing- however, when trying to speak with LoveHolidays to rectify this I was met with the same merry go round of ringing, trying to speak on live chat (no customer advisors were โ€˜availableโ€™ daily for over 5 weeks) and being asked to โ€˜log a requestโ€™ (which was done on day 1 after cancellation). As I was not lead passenger I was unable to be spoken to via Twitter DMs- although as mentioned several times the lead passenger works as a teacher and as the live chat function closed at 5pm this was not ideal. In the end after 5 weeks of waiting we were given alternative flightsโ€ฆat the cost of ยฃ297 extra per person (holiday was only ยฃ625 per person originally) and also departing/arriving at two separate airports in the UK. (Quite the business model between two companies- sign people up to cheap flights/holidays, cancel flights 4 months in advance and then put on alternative flights at a significantly increased price!) All in all Iโ€™m glad to have received a full refund with no cancellation fee (hence the other star) and to have spend our money elsewhere. Will seriously consider whether to use LoveHolidays again in the future- have really been put off unfortunately.

Our booking was for a self catering appartment. Our room had a fridge and a tiny kettle ! Great room, but not self catering. The hotel said they have converted to hotel room only status. They did offer us all inclusive for 700plus euros extra . We were unable to contact LH or a rep in any way at all. Nor get any help at the hotel . I don't have have photos of the non-existant hob, sink, pots&pans, tea towels, crockery, etc. We have STILL never managed to re- make contact with Love Horriddays. BOOK WITH THEM AT YOUR PERIL.

Where to start we booked a holiday to Thailand last April for February this year and on and of there have been issues with one thing or another but mainly fight changes at one point early on a flight we originally booked was no longer scheduled offered an alternative with another airline and love holidays asked for us to pay another ยฃ1000 plus up front before the cost of the original flight had been refunded this I wasnโ€™t comfortable with so I refused to do so eventually things had been rearranged with original airline, this was fine until a little later yet another schedule change and this time wanted to charge me more again because of price changes yet again I refused by this point I began to question my choice of holiday company, eventually after messaging back and forth with at 3 different members of staff the status quo had been restored and the original price stayed.now the cruncher two weeks before we depart I received a email informing me that due operational issues with covid etc our holiday had been cancelled and a full refund would be made in due course gutted and extremely angry is an understatement and i as well as others I spoke to think this is a bs excuse for what ever reason,the only good thing about it was the duly offered refund was made less than 24 hours after it was applied for thankfully Iโ€™ve managed to book again for the same dates and hotel at short notice booking each element separately much to our relief.safe to say I wonโ€™t be going back to love holidays again

Due to COVID and the lockdown last year, we decided to cancel our holiday in August 2020 which was a package holiday. We never received a refund on our flights and after chasing this up, Loveholidays have washed there hands of it even though we received a message from them before Xmas to say they are still looking into this, they have now said we need to go direct to the airline. Will never book a holiday through them again ...

I booked a short group holiday with LH back in October last year but flights were cancelled. I count myself fortunate that I eventually received a full refund in early Feb this year. I was the first to do so within the group. On that basis I would not book with LH again.
