“Terrible experience with LoveHolidays. Paid for a return to airport private transfer because the shuttle bus from Barcelona to Lloret Del Mar (a journey of 1 hour 20 mins) took 3 hours on our way to the hotel, the bus driver got lost, there were no toilets and we were told we weren't allowed to drink water. Not a great start to a holiday with kids. So I paid to avoid this stress on the way back to the airport another £70, only for the private transfer not to turn up at all. We had to get a local taxi back to the airport as we would have missed our flights, which cost £147. After a lot of complaing I eventually got my taxi costs refunded, but LoveHolidays still refusing to reimburse my £70 for the private transfer service that did not turn up. Terrible company and customer service, avoid as they are not even ABTA protected most likely so they dont have to reasonably deal with complaints.”

“Loveholidays have failed to make contact with myself or my partner regarding what I would describe as, a holiday from hell. We arrived in Crete Greece for a package holiday booked with Loveholidays (7 day trip) at 01:00am. When checking into the hotel we were taken to an outbuilding where the room provided was not what we had booked. We were met with a mouldy toilet, a bathroom sink that instead of draining into the sewage system, the water rose up from the pipes, 4 single shoddy beds, non locking patio doors, broken room door with no door handles (we were locked inside the room briefly with no way out) and many many other issues. Spoken to a customer service agent at 03:00am, sent evidence photographs and they agreed we had been falsely advertised. They assured us this would be rectified and we were told they would contact the hotel whilst we were on the phone. The hotel did not pick up the phone and we were later told that a case had been opened against the hotel. It has been 3 days since we have received any further contact despite being told this was being escalated. We have been left in the dark with no resolution from Loveholidays or compensation. I have emailed twice now and I have not received a response. Despicable.”

“The Hotel was never a 4 star more like 2 star. Dirty, poor AC, ants in bedroom. I am a diebetic neither bar or rsstaurant had diet soft drinks. Out dated rooms. Dirty mouldy shower curtain. No stocking up on toiletries. Toilet flush broken. Management poor. I could go on. Love holidays you need to remove Tunisia Lodge from your listing. You will just dissapoint people like i was with 6 other family members.”

“Hotel was awful would kennel my dog there. Nothing like the pictures, do not get sucked in. Also if you’re over 9 stone don’t expect to have a comfortable shower”

“Horrible place to stay, disgusting food, everything is so far away only one restaurant one bar, so if your not allocated a room near restaurant or bar you can walk 10 min to eat and drink, staff very unfriendly have zero understanding to people with disabilities Autism. Cleaning of bungalows while you are there is non existent no clean bed linen no clean towels had to ask for additional toilet rolls, this place needs serious attention to detail...overall such a bad experience that I do not want to go back to Fuerteventura because my stay there was just miserable”

“Overall, our holiday was very disappointing, mainly because of the standard of the hotel. Unfortunately, the hotel did not meet the expectations we had when booking our holiday. The cleanliness was very poor. Our room was not properly clean, the hotel generally did not feel well maintained, and on some occasions the towels provided were dirty. This was particularly disappointing and made us question the overall hygiene standards of the hotel. The weather was extremely hot, and although the rooms had air conditioning, there was no air conditioning in the reception area. This made waiting in reception or trying to speak to staff very uncomfortable. The Wi-Fi was available but extremely poor and unreliable, making it difficult to use properly. The food was very repetitive, with limited variety during our stay. We were also disappointed by the lack of communication from the hotel regarding the à la carte restaurants and menus. In fact, communication from the hotel was almost non-existent. Guests were not given clear information about arrangements and often had to find things out for themselves. I would like to make clear that our experience with Loveholidays itself was much better. The communication and updates we received from Loveholidays were good, and I was happy with the support provided by your team. The main problems were with the hotel and its standard of service. The airport transfer was quick and efficient, and I would like to acknowledge that Jade and the transfer staff were helpful and pleasant. The buses were air-conditioned, and the pick-up and drop-off times were good. However, we had specifically paid extra for a private transfer, but we were picked up by a shared bus instead. Although the bus service itself was good, we did not receive the private transfer that we had paid for. Overall, this holiday was a major disappointment. The poor cleanliness, dirty towels, repetitive food, lack of air conditioning in reception, unreliable Wi-Fi and extremely poor communication from the hotel significantly affected our experience. We paid for a holiday expecting a comfortable, clean and enjoyable stay, but unfortunately the hotel fell well below the standard we expected. I would not recommend this hotel and would strongly advise Loveholidays to review the standard of this property. I also believe we should receive appropriate compensation for the poor hotel experience and a refund of the additional amount paid for the private transfer that was not provided.”

“Xeno Eftalia Resort Hotel This is not a 4* Hotel dont be fooled..... Read all reviews here and TripAdvisor. My stay at Xeno Eftalia Resort Hotel was extremely disappointing, and I would not return or recommend this hotel to other British holidaymakers. From the moment I arrived, it felt as though the hotel was not interested in catering for British guests. The food was one of the worst aspects of the stay. The choice was poor, the quality was disappointing, and much of the food appeared to be aimed at Russian and Turkish guests. For British guests, the options were extremely limited — basically chips/fries, boiled eggs or burgers or Nuggets very little else that felt suitable or appealing same food every day bland and reheated or made into something else. When you're paying for an all-inclusive holiday, you expect a reasonable choice of food, not to struggle to find something decent to eat. The room was also very basic and disappointing. I wasn't expecting luxury, but I certainly expected a proper double bed. Instead, I was given a single bed, which was extremely uncomfortable, particularly as I am tall. There was mould on the wall which was disgusting. All i was expecting was a clean room and a comfortable bed should be the absolute minimum expectation when staying in a hotel. The entertainment was another major failure. The evening entertainment was extremely poor and felt like an afterthought. The children's entertainment was particularly disappointing, starting at around 9pm far too late for young children, who are already tired by that time. For a family resort, this is simply unacceptable. To be fair, the only genuinely nice things about the hotel were the pool area and the reception. The pool area was pleasant and well presented, and the reception area gave a much better first impression of the hotel than it really is. Unfortunately, these positives were nowhere near enough to make up for everything else. Overall, I felt that the hotel offered very poor value for money. The food, accommodation and entertainment all fell well below what I would expect from a holiday resort. British guests should think very carefully before booking this hotel, as I certainly would not book it again. A very disappointing holiday and, in my opinion, a hotel that needs to make significant improvements to cater for British holidaymakers.”

“Extremely misleading website. The hotel I booked in the package was unavailable. The options they provided were of lower board, lower stars, or lower ratings which I of course rejected. When asking for alternatives that were showing available they said they weren't. So they have multiple with the same issue and don't care about improving it. I provided an alternative of lower board which they refunded me the difference but not for the air conditioning.”

“PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT PEACE AND QUIET AND WANT TO RELAX AND UNWIND. Or if you want to actually swim in a pool or go to the beach. There are NO REAL BEACHES on the island.and NO REAL SWIMMING POOLS at the hotel. There are small plunge pools that get packed. Staff and locals were very helpful and friendly. The hotel indoor areas were smart, stylish and clean. The bed and room was comfortable. Small niggles - dusty bathroom on arrival, intermittent no-flush toilet, air-con turning itself off every few minutes. The family giant paddling pool blasted music so loud I genuinely couldn’t hear my son right next to me. The sunbeds everywhere (even in the adult only roof terrace) are packed in like sardines and the music never stops. (Probably to mask the noise from the road.) All areas are encased in glass so there is no sea breeze. The pools are across the road from the hotel. The main road is busy 24 hours a day and the Maltese seem to love to beep their horns. If you pay for a sea view, what you’re getting is a very noisy balcony -with a main road view! We made the most of it and the sea swimming and sea water was beautiful - crystal blue and warm. But please bear in mind - NOWHERE IS QUIET. NOWHERE IS RELAXING.”

“Booking with Love holiday was fine everything was on spot. But the hotel Leonardo Royal hotel in Mallorca wasn’t great the food was awful not everything was all inclusive There was not enough food some platters were empty for long no stock up everyday the same dessert not traditional food and dessert the food was looking not fresh .room wasn’t in best standard stuff wasn’t friendly. I I had all inclusive and I have to pay for cappuccino not ever drinks was included. They were using fake alcohol for your drinks and the taste disgusting for drinks like Jack Daniel’s etc . you have to pay. 100% don’t recommend this hotel never again . I feel like I waste my money.”

“The hotel was not what is on loveH website it’s was dark dated and dirty, the room was like a prison cell several people left the hotel and stayed somewhere else, this was not an option for me as I hadent got the budget, it’s not on google maps or on love holiday app, the reply from the hotel was that if I booked direct then I could have saw the hotel as it was not the fancy hotel on the love holiday app”

“The apartment was old and uncomfortable beds terrible .condition of bathroom was old . Light switch came off in hand kitchen cupboard opened to live wires . Aircon in. Bedroom no where else and had to pay extra fifty pound that wasn’t mentioned room 202 not good at all.”

“We spent nearly 3hrs on our transfer to our hotel when it stated it should only last 30mins, we were also dropped off a 25min walking distance away and the driver said it’s the closest he can go. Never trusting a shuttle transfer ever again.”
