Awful. Place is in bad need of an update. I spoke to a lady who visited 26 years ago and the rooms haven’t changed. Infestation of Ants and I was on the 13 floor. Seagulls surrounding the pool area eat food and attacking people. Doesn’t allow me to upload pictures of this hell hole.

Awful hotel! Horrible food. Smelly, slimy water in the pool. Filthy room, black mold and cockroaches! Water pouring down from the bathroom ceiling. Would not recommend! Stay away!

We booked our holiday through Love Holidays and the overall experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish, particularly due to misleading information, lack of resolution, and poor customer service. Prior to arrival, we contacted to request that our room be set up as a twin, as originally booked, otherwise we would not have known in advance that this could not be provided. At that point, there was no clear indication that the twin room we had booked was unavailable. Despite this, we were later informed we would need to pay an additional €75 for an “upgrade” due to the room not being available as advertised. This upgrade was misleading, as we were told it would include a single and queen-size bed. In reality, we were given a poor-quality sofa bed, which was uncomfortable and not fit for purpose. The description of the upgraded room was therefore not accurate. What made the situation particularly unacceptable was Love Holidays’ refusal to refund the €75 upgrade charge, despite the fact that the service provided did not match what was advertised or what we were told we were paying for. Communication throughout was slow and unhelpful, and we had to repeatedly chase for responses with no meaningful resolution offered. The hotel itself also fell well below expectations. Facilities were very basic and did not reflect a four-star standard. There was no fridge, no blackout blinds, and limited soundproofing. The bathroom flooded, tea and coffee facilities were incomplete (no milk provided and coffee sachets already contained sugar), and the location was further from the town centre than advertised. Service at the hotel was also poor, with staff generally unfriendly and dismissive. When we reported that our room had not been cleaned, this was not addressed and we were instead given additional tea bags. Requests were treated as an inconvenience rather than being properly dealt with. Overall, the experience involved misleading room availability, an unnecessary and misrepresented upgrade charge, refusal to refund that charge, poor communication, and a standard of accommodation far below what was advertised or expected when booking through Love Holidays.

My entire day was completely ruined dealing with Love Holidays — and that says everything. Our flight was cancelled, and despite booking a package holiday (which should include proper support), I was left to sort everything out myself. Instead of helping, Love Holidays just kept passing me back and forth like a game of ping pong, refusing to take real responsibility. Every conversation was the same:
“It’s not our fault” and “the airline has the duty of care” — but that doesn’t excuse them from supporting their customers. Under UK regulations, package holiday providers still have obligations, yet they repeatedly failed to act properly. The communication was confusing, inconsistent, and honestly exhausting. It took relentless effort, complaints, and escalation just to eventually get a refund — and even then only after significant stress and pushing for and my own investigation. No customer should have to fight this hard for basic rights. This company left me feeling completely abandoned at a time when I needed help the most. I’m now considering taking things further because of how badly this was handled. Avoid Love Holidays unless you’re prepared to deal with everything yourself.

The second hotel had some issues. Pool was too small. No swimming lane. Water was not available in bottles unless you paid extra for it. Water should of been available in rooms as it is a necessity, after all it was all inclusive. Water tasted recycled as apposed to natural spring water. We could not fill bottles with water to take to your room as there were signs on the water dispensers. Don't they realise that some people drink more than one cup over night. The bathroom shower leaked water every where. Room was not as illustrated in the images provided. Drinks especially spirits tasted diluted and the whiskey had a terrible taste . When we asked if we could have a different whisked there was no congestion for an all inclusive customer only the mixer. I do not have a mixer with mine therefore was expected to buy all my whiskeys at 4.50 euro per shot. In all my years at all inclusive hotels I have never had to do this.no tea and coffee facility's were in the rooms. No fridge hair dryer or iron. I have stayed in 3 star hotels before and these are standard. Good points. Food was good. Even though delayed in refilling. Staff were excellent as they were just doing their jobs. Location was good. I will not stay again, because the basic necessities such as water was a nightmare to obtain. Many customers complained to us about the spirits because you could clearly tell it was doctored. I think they should perform better as I would rate this less than 2 stars.

Not recommend Mar Amantis2.no music and no bar at swimming pool, for food you must to go to Mar amantis1. Entertainment is very low (just 1 night disco,with English music).the app don't let me to put pictures.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience booking through Love Holidays. I booked what was intended to be a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Rome for myself, my wife, and my elderly mother. The booking included three passengers and two hotel rooms. Naturally, we expected the accommodation provided would be suitable for all three travellers. However, when we arrived at the hotel, we were informed that both rooms booked were single occupancy rooms and that the hotel was not licensed to allow two people to stay in one room. This meant there was only accommodation for two people despite the booking clearly being for three travellers. This caused enormous stress and upset at the start of an important family holiday. We lost valuable time trying to resolve the issue instead of enjoying our trip, including spending around 40 minutes on an international call to Love Holidays’ emergency line while being repeatedly placed on hold. No practical solution was provided. In the end, we had no choice but to pay over £500 for an additional room at short notice. My wife and I were forced to stay separately for the holiday, which completely disrupted the experience. What has disappointed me most is the lack of accountability and compassion afterwards. My formal complaint was rejected on the basis that the booking was made online, despite the fact the accommodation supplied was not suitable for the number of travellers included on the booking. My follow-up email has now also been ignored. The hotel staff themselves were far more helpful and understanding than Love Holidays were throughout this situation. I appreciate mistakes can happen, but the way this was handled, both during the holiday and afterwards, has completely destroyed my confidence in using Love Holidays again.

I’ve rewritten it to sound more emotional and impactful while keeping the meaning intact. Since this is a complaint-style piece of writing, I’ll keep it strong without overdoing it into melodrama. First of all, the flights were completely wrong from the beginning. We didn’t even arrive until Tuesday, despite believing we were getting a full week away, and then we had to leave for the airport at 2am on Monday morning. Realistically, this was nowhere near a full week holiday, and it felt like time had been taken away from us before the trip had even started. In some ways I’m almost relieved it was cut short because the entire experience was heartbreaking and a complete nightmare from start to finish. The room we were given was absolutely awful. The smell was unbearable and made it unpleasant to even walk through the door, let alone relax and sleep there. We raised our concerns immediately and were promised a room change, which gave us hope things would improve, but that promise was never followed through. Instead, we were left feeling ignored and forgotten. To make matters worse, we had no balcony at all and our room overlooked directly into other people’s rooms, meaning there was no privacy and it felt uncomfortable and claustrophobic. There was nowhere to sit and enjoy a moment of peace or escape. The food was another huge disappointment. Not only was it poor quality and difficult to enjoy, but my cousin became extremely unwell after eating and ended up with food poisoning, which completely ruined the rest of the holiday for us. Watching someone become ill while away from home added stress and worry when we were supposed to be relaxing and making memories together. We booked this holiday because we needed a break, something to look forward to and enjoy, a chance to switch off and recharge. Instead of coming home feeling refreshed and happy, we came home feeling exhausted, upset and deeply disappointed. What should have been a week full of memories became a week full of frustration, discomfort and regret. It genuinely felt like a holiday we had been excited for turned into one long nightmare.

Absolutely terrible experience — I would give this hotel 0 stars if I could. The room was old, falling apart, and clearly hadn’t seen maintenance in years. The bathroom ceiling was literally coming down and the whole room felt dirty and neglected. The food was very poor, and despite paying for all inclusive, we still had to pay extra for certain things, so it definitely was not truly all inclusive. The only positive thing I can say is that the staff were lovely. Unfortunately, the management completely ruined the experience. They were rude and dismissive throughout our stay. What upset us most was the safety issue. We were two young girls placed in a room on a dark side street where anyone could walk straight up to the room. We told management we didn’t feel safe, and their response was basically that there was “nothing they could do” because other families hadn’t complained. They showed absolutely no concern for our safety. I would never stay here again and would not recommend this hotel to anyone
