. I know ALL customers of LOVE HOLIDAYS ARE BEING IGNORED AND UNABLE TO GET REFUNDS It would have been good to be able to phone to sort things out but they cut off phone support. In the absence of this I have done an IMAGINARY phone call with their ceo Alex. I PUT THIS REVIEW ON TRUST PILOT AND THEY ARE TRYING TO GET IT REMOVED. PLEASE COPY AND CIRCULATE ON SOCIAL MEDIA. Alex: Hi David, how can I help. David: Hi Alex, it's good to get through to someone, I've tried daily for the last couple of weeks to get a response with no success. Alex: Yes,sorry about that but we've had a difficult time, most of our efforts have been utilised maintaining sufficient 5 star reviews to keep them well over 60%, in these difficult times. David: Yes, I see you have a reward policy for reviews, good and bad. I thought I might get one because I've given you many bad reviews and they're genuine, honest and being read by many potential customers .Additionally,I'm mentioning Love Holidays in other posts I make,my comments were read by 1000's of potential customers yesterday, the power of the internet ! Anyway, I should have been on one of your wonderful holidays at the moment in Rhodes but instead I'm at home. It's not bad, particularly now the weather's improved, the food's probably better here and the bed's clean. The problem is, I'm 73 and since my wife's passing live alone and of course with social distancing cannot get out at the moment. That's fine but I incur extra living costs by having to pay for food deliveries and not able to bargain hunt. So you see I would like my money returned ,pronto ,so to speak ! I gave it to you last Oct., so you've had it for quite a while. Alex: Look David,we really want you to enjoy a holiday with us, we know you've been looking forward to visiting Rhodes and you shouldn't be spending your holiday money on food,if you've lost weight before you go you might even find the cuisine in the hotel edible. That's why we've decided to help you out by giving you a voucher, it is of course ATOL protected and you can use it to purchase a holiday from us,Love Holidays. David: Obviously I'd love to have a holiday but at the moment food is more important..At one time I would have valued ATOL protection and over the years have sought a holiday with that protection and duly paid the fee, a sort of insurance. Now I realise their word is not their bond. You say the voucher is safe but your small print (you know the bits you don't want people to read) says that the terms can be altered. Alex: Yes but these are difficult times,we have to protect our business so you can enjoy living your dream. You should be grateful we are keeping our business solvent so you can enjoy the dream for years to come. Can't you feel the love coming from L....ove Holidays. David: I checked your site and a special holiday came up for me in May -same resort, same hotel, same board basis but the price was MORE THAN TWICE AS MUCH AS I paid for the holiday I should be on now..I checked other dates over the next few months ,they were even more expensive. Alex:Well market forces apply and remember we're giving you a voucher for almost half the amount. Think how much it would cost without the voucher! David: So,Alex, let's see if I understand. I paid £500 for a holiday, which was cancelled. You won't return my money even though in my opinion you are breaking the law but you will give me a voucher and I give you another £700 I can have the same holiday. When that holiday is cancelled, will you refund my £1200 or give me a voucher so I can use it against a holiday which you may well choose to charge me £2,500 for at that time. Alex:The trouble with plebs like you ,is you expect us to do the decent thing. If you think we're spending money out of the profits which rose by 190% last year,or any of the£180 million for the sale to private equity, you've gotta be joking. IF YOU CAN'T BE REASONABLE I'M TERMINATING THIS CALL.

My flights were cancelled for a holiday to Turkey (not booked with Love Holiday) in writing Love Holiday agreed to change my holiday to July 2021 once I manage to rebook my flights. Once my flights were rebooked i contacted them three times and someone called me back and said they made a mistake and wont be rebooking my holiday..meaning I loss nearly £8k as the holiday date had past. I have asked several times on chat and messages for someone to contact me and no one has three months later. No CUSTOMER SUPPORT AND REALLY DONT CARE!! DO NOT USE THEM, I WILL NOW FORWARD PAPERWORK TO LAWYERS.

I booked a holiday in January 2020 for travel 5th September 2020. Flight was cancelled and so love holidays contacted me to offer change or refund. I opted for refund. Flight was with easyjet who I dealt with direct and they refunded love holidays the flight cost, love holidays have since paid this to me. I have today received refund receipt from love holidays for hotel.. I did not need to contact love holidays they kept me informed & kept to their side of the deal. Happy enough! Sorry for all those that haven't had a good experience. Patience is a virtue & in these times patience is greatly needed.

This is a disgusting company I’ve literally tried so hard to contact them To the point I’ve given up on love holidays, to then contact the hotel where we are meant to be staying. For them to tell me our holiday got cancelled 3days ago. Without any explanation at all not even an email............absolutely shocking

I feel the way Loveholidays has handled the COVID crisis has been appalling, particular for a company that is meant to be the 5th biggest tour operator in the UK. I will never use them again and I would strongly advise others to avoid. We booked a week's holiday to Menorca on 24 July 2020 and ended up cancelling it and losing over £1,000. By taking away any forms of communicating with them they created massive uncertainity for us and I feel their behaviour has been unjust and immoral. I am very aware of the fact that this has been an extremely difficult time for the whole industry but to refuse to provide any channels of communication is woeful! With young children, we did not feel safe to fly and did not want to go away. We had contacted the hotel directly and they advised the booking was going ahead. A few days before we cancelled in early July, we could book an easyjet flight on the same plane we were due to go on. So based on this info, we took a gamble that the holiday would go ahead and we didn't want to go. In the end Easyjet did cancel our flight. If only we could have had a conversation, we would have postponed until next year! Having read the other reviews, it was clear if we paid the remaining balance (a further £1,000 plus) it was very unlikely we would be able to get a full refund quickly or easily. They may not have 'legally' broken the contract with us but their approach has been extremely negligent and for this reason I am lodging a formal complaint about them with ABTA - the regulator for travel tour operators. I would recommend others to do the same.

I am giving no stars as this company is appalling. It is always when things go wrong you see a companies true grit, these hide from their customers.

You took a booking on Saturday 11th July , and then cancelled everything on Monday 13th July even though there was no problem with the flights hotel or car hire company. What does this tell me? You SCAMMED me. I am going as public as I can- I've contacted press, TV government complaint sites and consumer complaint sites. This is theft.

This company if you can call them that are disgusting, dishonest . The holiday was cancelled due to covid virus, I moved the flights so I could rebook in October when I hubby was off work, and when I went to rebook just the hotel and transfers, but the voucher reduced in value by 200 pounds , it appeared that they wanted you to rebook the whole thing again and pay for the flights again. But why should I, and also they wanted more money as well, o I feel conned because the voucher is not worth the full value. I have requested a refund but they said it would take 30 days, and I would have to take the flights up with easyJet, but I feel cheated because I only moved the flights so I could rebook the holiday, but I can’t cause I can’t get the full value of the voucher to use. I tried to look at July when my husband is off but it’s double the price I can’t afford that. So I have hired a solicitor and I want all my money back 881.00 pounds love holidays, or it will be see u in court, I would not recommend this company or would I encourage others to use them. When u use livechat online they cut you off, pls don’t use this company they are rip of merchants and don’t care once they have your money, this is on behalf of me Sharon Burkett and my husband Brian Burkett.

SCAM!!! Like many others on this page I cancelled my holiday prior to my hand being forced. I was told I’d have a refund within 5 days and since then it’s been 6 weeks, they have tried to say it’s a voucher twice but when the idiots actually look at my file it’s clear I cancelled out of choice and chose to pay the cancellation fee. I’ve been cut off on live chat, emailed by ‘managers’, I even got a phone call which I couldn’t take and of course there is no way to call back. I’ve messaged their CEO and today I was told they are refunding in departure order. So I asked what departure date are they up to? I was told they don’t know and it’s private bla bla bla This company is keeping as much money in their bank for as long as possible as without it the company will plummet. It does not take 6 weeks to make a simple refund payment. If TUI can sort their customers out within 28 days why can’t loveholidays? I’ve asked for a GDPR access report (SAR) as once I’ve got proof of the rubbish I’ve been told I will take this public. If I hear once more how busy they are, and how hard times are for the travel industry. Times are hard for everyone and we don’t have an investment group to pay our bills. Company is a scam and I agree with every negative review I’ve seen! Stay away, if they continue trading that is!!!

Love Holidays are refusing to refund my flight money, and telling me to contact the airline direct for a refund. ABTA say this is WRONG and Love Holidays are legally obligated to refund me direct. When I told this to Love Holidays they disconnected the chat. Love holidays told me that I could only cash a refund credit note AFTER it expires and when the protection has ended, which means I risk not getting anything. ABTA said this is WRONG. Refund credit notes should be refunded in full BEFORE the expiry date. Love Holidays misinformed me and disconnected me on 3 occasions just for asking for what I know I am legally entitled to. They have stolen my money and ended all communication. I am disgusted to read reviews of where they have refused refunds to vulnerable older people, or people who are financially struggling. I think Love-less Holidays would be a more fitting re-branding. I would advise everyone who has been ripped off by Love-less holidays to put a formal complaint into ABTA. They will contact Love-less holidays on your behalf and ABTA have the power to discipline and ultimately withdraw membership to Love-less Holidays. Every single complaint to ABTA is formal evidence of their disreputable and criminal practice. ABTA helpline is 0203 117 0599 and you can register a formal complaint via their website. You can upload as evidence transcripts of all your conversations with Love holidays where you have been misinformed, ignored or cut off just for asking for what is rightfully yours.

What a pathetic excuse of a ‘friendly and helpful’ company. Paid £2000+ for a holiday to NYC (took the money out straight away) only to receive an email 2 days later saying there was an issue. Called up and spoke to the most unhelpful, rude and patronising agent, who said there was a slight issue with the flights we had already paid for. Due to this they wanted to charge us another £1000!!! Or be charged an extra £250 for in direct flights (they actually expected us to fly from NYC to Chicago and then Chicago to London, 800 miles in the wrong direction!!) Called back to advise this is not good enough to which the agent just said ‘ok so you want to cancel then?’ - no I just wanted direct flights and the price agreed! Now have to wait 5 days for a refund!! Love holidays you really need to sort the attitude of your staff out.

Rip off company...I booked on Loveholidays website all inclusive holiday to Dominican republic for good offer £697 for 2 people for 12 nights and after I paid on the confirmation of my booking says "room only". I took a screen shot of all inclusive offer to send to my friend who is coming with me. I called loveholidays and I explained the situation and sent them my screen shot and they said they can't change to all inclusive and I have to pay £1500 more..and I can't cancel because I will loose my £697...be carful with booking with this company...I can't sleep because I saved 6 months for this holiday and now I can't go for what I was booking and I can't afford now to pay £1500 more...it's absolutely ridiculous...I'm not recommend this company to anyone....
