They use a company that doesn't exist for transfers in Rome. So when you show up, nobody is there and you lose the money you spent plus more on organising your own transport to the hotel and back. I saw several other families on the same flight getting stranded, and when we rang the taxi company, we found out they don't exist! Not sure what cut Loveholidays are getting from this scam, but I hope it's worth it.
Tried ringing Loveholidays, but they just hung up on me. Told them to check the company they use online—a simple search proves that it's a total scam—and they hung up again.
They sent me an email address to send the call log that proves we were waiting at the airport for hours, and the email bounces back!
I've given them endless opportunities to fix this, but Loveholidays are a scam company, so they won't.
I've informed my solicitor and my uncle, who is head editor at a national media outlet.
I will never use Loveholidays again and neither should you. I'm actually looking forward to this story going very, very public.
