We were due to fly to Tenerife on Sunday but the flight was cancelled due to the storm, I contacted Love holidays (eventually) using Livechat and was told to contact the hotel in Tenerife myself, they weren’t interested as the booking was made by love holiday. As the next available flight won’t be until Friday we have had to cancel, we again rang the hotel with same result and they told us they had not received the £1600 we paid LH. Eventually after two days spent hanging on the phone and trying to get through on livechat we have been issued with a cancellation invoice and Loveholidays have retained the whole payment, and we now need to make an insurance claim.
