My story is the same . I should be in Crete now with accommodation booked with LH. I booked my flights separately with Jet2 and my refund with them is being processed. However trying to get a refund on my accommodation is impossible as only option on the ‘my bookings’ section on website offers either ammending existing booking to another date or accepting a credit note. Neither is acceptable to me as we now desperately need the money back. Phone lines shut down, live chat is non existent and no reply to any of my 5 messages left on their website. Unfortunately my insurance company will not refund as they say that a credit note is seen as a refund. Terrible customer service and I will certainly never be using LH again.
