I ordered two pairs of the same trainers so that the delivery cost was shared over a larger purchase. A day later I received notification that my trainers were ready for dispatch. I also then received an email saying that they only had one pair so the other pair were cancelled. I emailed back within 12 minutes to explain that if they could only supply one pair, to cancel the order. I had a reply back 2 days later basically saying it was too late as they had already sent the order.
This meant the delivery charge was more than 25% of the cost of the trainers.
In my opinion, if you can't supply the order having accepted it, you should contact the customer before just sending it anyway.
