I went to purchase a dishwasher that Lowes offered a $150 rebate. However the rebate required me to switch electrical providers that would have resulted in a $250 cancellation fee. The new provider’s rate were twice what I was currently paying. So the rebate would cost about $2200 my first year of the contract.
It’s shameful that Lowes would offer such a bogus sham rebate.
