Lowes Panama City Beach, Florida on Highway 98. Yes, we thought that we were purchasing a new 50 gal hot water heater by A.O. Smith. Instead, we ended up getting a used rusty Hydrojet hot water tank that someone had swapped out inside the box. The black female assistant manager did not even want to hear what had happened. She just assumed that we had put our old hot water heater inside the box to return it for money. We did not go seeking money, we wanted the AO Smith hot water heater that we had paid for. She said that there was no way that AO Smith would ship something used to them. Well, two employees at that Lowes told us that it happens all the time where old and used items are put inside of the new boxes and brought back for a refund. Again, we did not want a refund l; just the new hot water heater we had paid our &540.00 for. So, we ended up having to purchase another hot water heater because the plumber was at our house waiting to put the new one in. Our plumber was mad as heck when he opened the box the first time and saw that old used hot water heater inside. So, I told the sales clerk that I wanted every box opened to look inside before we purchased the next hot water heater. She said no, but I told her that since they did not believe us, we sure as heck did not trust them with what is inside any box from now on. So, she opened the box for us. We could have easily taped the box back up and returned the old Hydrojet hot water heater that was inside of the box. But no, we were being honest and that got us nowhere. Now, does Lowes open and check all returned appliance boxes to make sure that the correct item is inside before accepting the product back into the store? No, but they should! We tell everyone that we know-DO NOT SHOP at LOWES. GO TO HOME DEPOT INSTEAD. WE DO! LOWES DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMERS! When we contacted Lowes in Panama City Beach after trying to reason with that female manager, we never heard back. We were given so many numbers to call. We called and left messages. Just got the run around. We ended up paying over 1,000.00 for one AO Smith hot water heater valued at $540.00. Crazy right! I tried to upload a photo of the used Hydrojet hot water heater but it would not upload.

When we went for pickup it did not take them long to get it ready for us and they were quick at giving it to us and asking if we need help along the way

Had this card over a year because of new carpet put in the house. Paid a fixed account every single month and never missed a payment. Just paid $4800 off after selling my house and they close my card as soon as the payment clears because my credit isn't good enough now. Never shopping at Lowe's again.

Warranty SCAM!! SCAM BY LOWES EXTENDED WARRANTY be aware they tell you if you don’t use it you will get parts of your money back all SCAM MAKE SURE GET THAT IN RIDING OTHER WISE THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY SCAM !!!

Lowe’s on Woodrow Bean in El Paso, TX. I was trying to perchase something online and my account was blocked, so I called and spoke with representative at Lowe’s and asked if I could order over the phone. I gave her my Credit Card info and she replied with my credit card was declined, I asked if she could run it one more time to make sure she didn’t input the number wrong. She replied with “ I can only run it once” we have the item you are looking for in stock” I asked if they could hold it, she said no. I drove all the way over to purchase it and she said they were holding for customers. I am disappointed in the service from Lowe’s.

I came into Lowe's look into purchase a circular saw to put up the panel and my tiny house. The first person I saw I grabbed in the power tools her name was tawana and she took the time to show me the different saws and which ones would be easier for me to use since I've had hand surgery. David was over that department so he took the time and opened the box and show me the do's and don'ts of the power tools . I've been coming in over the past several months being that I'm building me a tiny house and I have had a lot of questions and relied on their knowledge and I've had a lot of good customer relationships with a lot of these people at Lowe's in Oxford. I just want to say thanks to twana David and Jevona for all your help that day. Tawana thank you for that wood that you help me get it turned out excellent thank you for the Blessing!!!!

gave me a 4 hour window for delivery. confirmed that 4 hour window. texted they were on the way to my house *2 hours* before that 4 hour window. i texted them back with only automated response and had to leave half way through an important appointment to get my delivery. ridiculous! like messing up 4 hours of my day to plan around the original window wasn't bad enough - had to screw up my entire day.

Bought a new refrigerator at store and set up delivery time when fridge arrived the 2 young men who are named Sway and James came in and checked out the plan of attack. Sway appears to be the lead man and he is very knowledgeable on installing and set up. He got out the old fridge and placed it where we wanted in garage as we are keeping it and then he helped me clean the floor and I'm disabled and he did great then got new fridge inside and started to assemble the new doors and items the thing required. Then while unwrapping it he noticed a dent and scratch on the front door if it. It's a stainless model and it shows up pretty good . It was a hidden dent and scratch and someone at the factory hid the damage with a sticker and shipping tape about set up info. It wasn't Sway or James the setup guys. Sway went above and way beyond what he was supposed to have done. He got me in touch with the right lady to talk to about the damage and they made it right and we opted to go ahead and keep the damaged refrigerator. They gave us a discounted price and it's all good now but this guy Sway is so nice and he calmed me down .because to be honest I was really mad and ready to send it back. He cleaned up and made sure it was clean and operational. Was A very pleasant and engaging young man. I'd deal with him anytime. He's such a asset to Lowe's it's great. Please acknowledge him for his great work and friendliness In his knowledge of doing his job he is a fun and nice kid to be around we are so happy with how they did it.thank you for your time

Suppose to have a new fridge delivered yesterday between 4-8 pm. At 11:30 pm my tracker says I’m next for delivery, so I go open the garage doors and come back and seen I missed a call so I call back, three times and no one answers. By 12:30 am I close the doors and go to bed even tho the tracker keeps saying I’m next. This morning I call and they tell me that the driver says he sat in my driveway for 15 minutes but it was dark and no one was home? I said that’s a lie cause I have 5 dogs and no one comes up that drive that I don’t know about not to mention I have 2 motion sensing cameras and every light in this house was on! So then they say we can deliver it 4 days later between 8 am and 8 pm?! I bought it on sale and canceling it is have to pay $150 more anywhere else plus I have my old fridge out like they told me to do. Anyway I checked my cameras and no one came up this drive last night so I called back and this time she says well the driver was at the end of your drive and called but no answer and it was dark at 11:30 pm. I said I called that number back immediately several times and no one answered and of course it was dark at the bottom of my driveway, it’s almost .20 miles from the house!! Why didn’t he answer when I called back? Why didn’t he call 3 1/2 hours earlier to tell me he was running 4 hours behind? The least you could do is deliver it this morning, but she said he was at the end of the driveway and he called and you didn’t answer so it’s not our fault?! They didn’t even offer me a discount or gift card, hell, they couldn’t even get it delivered the next day or day after or even the day after that. I’ll never buy anything there ever again. Writing these reviews I realize I should have read some of these before I bought anything there the first time. Awful

I ordered two garage doors a Lowe’s and the contractor who is supposed to come to delivered and install the doors never call me to schedule. I paid for service since September, today is December 3, 2024 no one has contacted me. The contractor that Lowe’s give the business to has bad customer service skills. I would not recommend to buy garage doors at Lowe’s it will take a long long long long time before someone comes to take measurements and to install it. I recommend that you use a different company to do your business with.

Online order went through incorrectly. Trying to call to fix situation was more than aggravating and incompetent. Deland Lowes does not answer their phone for approximately 30 minutes ringing today.

We ordered a refrigerator from Lowe’s website. Paid for delivery, installation, and haul away. The delivery guys refused to setup the refrigerator so we had to call another person to install. Then he told us he would working in the area and would return to pickup the old refrigerator within a few hours all we had to do was give him a call The new guy showed up within 10mins of the delivery guys leaving and did the install himself. We call the Lowe’s delivery guys to come back to pick up the old refrigerator they first lied and said they would be back soon then they proceeded to ignore our calls. Long story short the Lowe’s delivery guy lied and was very unprofessional. Lowe’s gave us a $25 gift card for the inconvenience however at the cost of 2 refrigators seating in my kitchen over the next few days while waiting for another crew to come back to haul away. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER BIG PIECE OF APPLIANCE FROM LOWES AND I WILL ALSO NEVER USE THEIR DELIVERY SERVICES!

Very very dissatisfied. Customer went to Lowe's in buckhorn Pennsylvania purchased a refrigerator and dryer. Paid $1000 estimated delivery. 24 hours. The associate Josh, Josh. Wrote the wrong phone number. Wrote the wrong address. And submitted the order. Waited all day for my delivery. Contacted Lowe's. They knew nothing about me. But they still have my $1,000. Now telling me it will be 48 plus hours before they can even tell me if I get my stuff or not. Even though they have my $1,000, the people in the store clearly need more training or they just don't care. Will never shop Lowe's for appliances again.

If you’re thinking about getting new garage doors do not go to Lowe’s it will take 3 months they don’t tell you that they will you it will take 30 days. What they do they have an outside contractor who is supposed to call you to come take measurements. The problem is they don’t call you and when you call them the owner of that company do not return your call and the reason I said the owner is because when you call it’s cancel phone number and it goes to voicemail. Anyway the customer service is really bad don’t even waste your time just save the headache and hassle by doing business elsewhere

Lowe's in Carbondale Illinois refuses to stand behind their products I purchased a washing machine Whirlpool and had delivered machine makes loud knocking noise numerous calls to the appliance department and the customer service department and corporate and whirlpool they all refuse to correct the issue Lowe's is a disgrace
