Got a Question?

Lowes is a duopoly who treat their customers like shit. lack of competition is why they can do this. Capitalism is about best quality at the lowest price instead we get highest price and lowest quality products. People need to wake up at how screwed up Capitalism is by all this control with few choices. Workers also look haggard exhausted and apathetic.

I ordered metal roofing. it was suppose to be ready for pick up by December 1, 2023. Then they said it was not due until the 5th. Then they said it would be ready the 8th and they confirmed it. Now when checking they didn't seem to care at all. I forced them to call and check on the order and they called my wife to check on order (idiots). When they got back on the line they said they cant get them on phone. Meanwhile I do not have a roof and no one at Lowes cares. I called Lowes Customer Care and the recording said wait time was 30 minutes probably so no one complains. Cant leave a review to even try to get response.

How do I get some of my delivery charge refunded as only one box was delivered of 3 that were supposed to be delivered and then the store called me and said to come and get the other 2 boxes, so I did. This delivery was postponed 3 times.

I have been waiting for my dishwasher for forty five days. It seems as though Lowe's can't get one for me in the store, so I figured I would ask if you knew where I might be able to pick one up? I have been into the store on four occasions, spoke with the salesman four times in person, three times on the phone, the department manager once, and the store manager once. The store manager told me he would keep an eye on my order personally. He claimed he would contact me within 7-10 business days. After the twelfth day, I gave up. They never had the one that I tried to purchase. They gave me an 'upgraded one'. Then within three days, the manufacturer quit making those, and they were upgrading THAT Model. Then, the installers called, on around the 20th-25th day to tell me they would be at my home within thirty minutes with my dishwasher. Within ten minutes of that call, I received another call from the salesman. He claimed that they dropped it while loading it in the truck for the installer, and it would not be coming. He told me that something snapped or popped, and they knew it was damaged. Through all of this, I was never given a model number. They had changed three times, and they never gave me the model number. I had no idea what I had purchased, or anything to compare it with. I called corporate today, but was told that I would have to take care of this at the store level. I tried calling the department three times, and I held on while it rang and rang, until it disconnected me. I did the same with the manager. The seventh phone call, I ask the receptionist if she could simply cancel my order. She said she could, and would call me back. She was very nice, and did what she said she would do. She never called me back, but I did get a return call about four hours later from the salesman. He asked me if I still wanted to cancel. I said yes. He then stated that he had mu dishwasher in the store, and did I still want to cancel it. I said yes. My wife and I decided that the cost was of little importance. We will pay more for a dishwasher if we have to. No issues. I have been a good customer for Lowe's, and they have in turn, been good (to a point) in return. I was told on the second call from our salesman that my new refrigerator was in, and he wanted to know when I was picking it up. I was lied to, I had no idea what I was getting. They changed the order up on me more than once, I had already made my second payment on the Credit Card, and still no Dishwasher. The delivery dates kept getting pushed out, and pushed out. There was supposed to be a Free Delivery, but the Installers tack that on, because they have to be the ones to deliver it, if they are installing it. (It takes four screws being removed and re-installed, along with a line to your cold and hot water, then you plug it in, and open the water valves. That's how hard it is to put in. I was being charged 165.00 for this service. Then, they do not haul it away, unless you pay an additional $40.00. My trash company takes appliances off the curb. To be serious, I will remain a customer if I need a light bulb, but if I need anything over five dollars, I will go elsewhere. Take a look at MyLowes account. I have been a good customer. Those are only the purchases that I made while remembering to use my card. I feel as if I was simply Put Out with Lowe's. It is as if they just do not care. I had my own business, and I relied on others. I also had to KEEP MY WORD. That seems to be something that is lacking from in the service I received. I know the loss of my sale for a measly 1300, won't cause Lowe's to go out of business, and they probably wont even care, but it gives me the satisfaction of doing business elsewhere, after being loyal to them for every hardware need for over twenty years. ACE, Home Depot, here I come!! My wife and I are both fully disabled. I also have severe PTSD. You may understand how, and why this is such a thorn in my side.
